A display device includes a base substrate, a light emitting element layer including a central non-emitting area, an emitting area surrounding the central non-emitting area, and a peripheral non-emitting area surrounding the emitting area, an encapsulation layer covering the light emitting element layer, and a light blocking layer on the encapsulation layer. The light blocking layer includes a first light blocking layer defining a first opening overlapping the emitting area, and a second light blocking layer in the first opening and spaced apart from the first light blocking layer.

A display device includes a substrate. A first electrode is disposed on the substrate. A pixel definition layer is disposed on the substrate. A second electrode is disposed on the first electrode and the pixel definition layer. An organic emission layer is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. A planarization layer is disposed on the second electrode. A low refractive index layer is disposed on the planarization layer and overlaps the pixel definition layer. A high refractive index layer is disposed on the planarization layer and overlaps the second electrode. The high refractive index layer has a higher refractive index than that of the low refractive index layer.

Display device having a tapered low refractive index layer and a high refractive index layer

The display device includes a display panel and an input detection member. The input detection member includes a first conductive pattern, a first insulating layer covering the first conductive pattern, a second conductive pattern disposed on the first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer covering the second conductive pattern. The light shielding part includes a plurality of light shielding layers. The transmission part has a light transmittance greater than a light transmittance of the light shielding part. A plurality of holes is defined in each of the light shielding layers. The transmission part fills the holes and portions between the light shielding layers.
