A vertical tilling implement to be pulled behind and agricultural vehicle having a number of gangs of fluted-concave disc blades, rolling baskets, and wheels connected to a main frame. As the vertical tilling implement is pulled, the fluted-concave disc blades move the soil in a direction lateral to the side of the blades as well as up. Meanwhile, the rolling bars aid in leveling the seedbed and crushing the remaining large pieces of soil. The vertical tilling implement reduces the amount of subsoil compaction and cuts through heavy residue making it ideal for use in the fall or in the spring.

Vertical tillage system

An auxiliary tool assembly for an agricultural implement is configured to support a finishing tool(s) at a location at or adjacent to the aft end of the implement. The auxiliary tool assembly includes a support arm extending lengthwise between a proximal end and a distal end, with the proximal end of the support arm being pivotally coupled to a portion of the implement at or adjacent to its aft end so that the tool assembly is pivotable relative to the implement between a work position and a transport position. In addition, the finishing tool(s) is configured to be coupled to or otherwise supported relative to the ground by the support arm at a location between its proximal and distal ends. Moreover, the auxiliary tool assembly includes one or more surface-engaging wheels coupled to the distal end of the support arm.

Auxiliary tool assembly for an agricultural implement

A trunnion assembly, comprising at least two pivot-engagement sides located opposite each other, each of the at least two pivot-engagement sides including an attachment hole, each attachment hole including a threaded area and a counterbore, the at least two attachment holes being generally coaxially located relative to each other; and at least one through-hole perpendicular to and midway between the two attachment holes of the pivot-engagement sides; a fastener releasably attached to each of the at least two attachment holes, the fastener including a head and an at least partially-threaded shaft, and a pivot tube disposed around each of the fasteners between the head and the attachment hole, the pivot tube including an inner diameter larger than the diameter of the shaft and an outer diameter smaller than the diameter of a circumscribed circle of the head of the fastener and smaller than the diameter of the counterbore.

Trunnion assembly

In one aspect, an auxiliary tool assembly for an agricultural implement may be configured to support a finishing tool(s) at a location at or adjacent to the aft end of the implement. The auxiliary tool assembly may include a support arm extending lengthwise between a proximal end and a distal end, with the proximal end of the support arm being pivotally coupled to a portion of the implement at or adjacent to its aft end so that the tool assembly is pivotable relative to the implement between a work position and a transport position. In addition, the finishing tool(s) may be configured to be coupled to or otherwise supported relative to the ground by the support arm at a location between its proximal and distal ends. Moreover, the auxiliary tool assembly may include one or more surface-engaging wheels coupled to the distal end of the support arm.

An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member, a secondary frame member and at least one double rolling basket assembly coupled to the secondary frame member. A plurality of linkage assemblies interconnect the frame member and the secondary frame member. Each linkage assembly includes an upper link connected to upper connections of the frame member and the secondary frame member and a lower link connected to lower connections of the frame member and the secondary frame member. A force applicator operates against one of the links to move the baskets up and down.

Double rolling basket linkage

An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member and at least one rolling basket assembly coupled to the frame member. The rolling basket assembly has at least one bearing hanger, at least one rolling basket and at least one bearing assembly rotationally coupling the rolling basket to the bearing hanger. The bearing assembly has a bearing with an inner ring and a spindle holding the inner ring. The spindle is coupled to the bearing hanger. The spindle being configured to accommodate dynamic misalignment of the bearing.

Agricultural rolling basket bearing assembly

An agricultural implement is provided that includes a frame assembly. Moreover, the agricultural implement includes a multiple wheel assemblies coupled to the frame assembly. Additionally, the agricultural implement includes a cross-tube coupled to wheel assemblies and positioned between the wheel assemblies. The agricultural implement includes a rear hitch assembly coupled to the frame assembly. The rear hitch assembly is also configured to be coupled to an auxiliary implement. Furthermore, the cross-tube is positioned vertically above the rear hitch assembly.
