Optimal determination of wireless network pathway configurations may be provided. A computing device may detect, at a first network Access Point (AP), inference on a channel with a second AP. Then, the computing device can check availability of a redundant radio at the second AP. Based on the availability, the computing device can establish a new radio link with the redundant radio at the second AP and reroute data traffic over the new radio link to the second AP. After establishing the new radio link, the computing device can then sever the channel with the second AP.

Dynamic radio configuration for seamless backhaul frequency optimization

Optimization of radio communications of a wireless network of a local site may be provided. A probe frame or an association frame may be received from a Client Device (CD) operating in the local site that identifies at least one operating class and Multi-Link (ML) capability information of the CD. Channel information of at least one Access Point (AP) having ML capability in the local site may be embedded in a probe response frame or in an association response frame based on the at least one operating class and the ML capability information of the CD. The probe response frame or the association response frame that includes the channel information of the at least one AP having ML capability in the local site may be transmitted, as unicast, to the CD.

Multi-link device classification based neighbor discovery

Optimal determination of transmit power level for MLDs in A Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). An AP can establish synchronous downlink multi-link operations with another MLD. A first link and a second link between the AP and the MLD both operate in a same sub-band. The AP can then determine the same power level for both the first link and second link. After establishing the same power level, the AP can then determine a second power level for the first link and a third power level for the second link. The second power level is greater than the third power level. The AP can then provide the second power level for the first link and the third power level for the second link.

Adaptive equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) for multi-link devices in a single regulatory sub-band

In one embodiment, a first wireless access point (AP) of a first basic service set (BSS) receives, from a second wireless AP of a second BSS, data indicative of an 802.11-based target wake time (TWT) schedule of a client of the second BSS. The first wireless AP identifies, from the receive data, a scheduled communication time of the client of the second BSS in the TWT schedule. The first wireless AP generates an 802.11-based TWT schedule for a client of the first BSS that avoids the scheduled communication time of the client of the second BSS. The first wireless AP sends the generated 802.11-based TWT schedule to the client of the first BSS, wherein the sent TWT schedule causes the client of the first BSS to wake from sleep at a scheduled wake time.

Coordinated target wake time (TWT) service for localized wireless neighborhoods

Techniques for neighborhood management between WiFi and unlicensed spectrum radios. A wireless access point (AP), including a first radio, identifies a neighboring second radio operating using at least a portion of an unlicensed radio spectrum, based on a time that the AP receives a transmission from the second radio using a frequency within the unlicensed radio spectrum. Transmission between the first radio and the second radio is synchronized by identifying a clock offset between a first clock relating to the first radio and a second clock relating to the second radio.

Neighborhood management between WiFi and unlicensed spectrum radios

Improved mesh performance using Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS) coloring and transmission scheduling may be provided. A controller may determine that a plurality of Access Points (APs) in a mesh network each have a Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) that is in a predetermined range. Next, the controller may assign, in response to determining that the plurality of APs each have the RSSI that is in the predetermined range, OBSS colors to links between the plurality of APs to limit packet collision in the mesh network between the plurality of APs. The controller may then create a transmission schedule for transmissions between the plurality of APs in the mesh network based on the assigned OBSS colors.

Optimal determination of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) sounding method and system may be provided. An Access Point (AP) selects a subchannel for the partial sounding. The AP then sounds the selected subchannel. A client station responds with Channel State Information (CSI). The AP can receive the CSI, from the client station, in response to the sounding. Based on the CSI from the selected subchannel, the AP extrapolates the CSI to determine predicted CSI for a wider bandwidth channel.

A method includes measuring an interference caused by a first radio in a multi-link device to a second radio of the multi-link device and in response to determining that the interference exceeds a threshold, repeatedly narrowing a transmission beam width of the first radio until the interference falls below the threshold.

Reducing leakage in multi-link devices

A wireless access point device is full-duplex capable and serves wireless communication for at least first and second wireless client devices. The wireless access point device sends to the first wireless client device a trigger frame that causes the first wireless client device to send an uplink transmission to the wireless access point after a first time interval. The wireless access point device waits a second time interval after the first wireless client is expected to begin sending the uplink transmission. The wireless access point device receives the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device. After the second time interval, and while receiving the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device, the wireless access point device sends to the second wireless client device a downlink transmission that overlaps at least partially in frequency and time with the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device.

Techniques for identifying an orientation for an antenna in a wireless communication device. A plurality of estimates of antenna gain are determined for an antenna associated with a wireless access point (AP), the plurality of estimates of antenna gain relating to a plurality of wireless stations (STAs) associated with the AP. An orientation for the antenna is determined based on the plurality of estimates of antenna gain and a plurality of properties for the antenna.

Automatic identification of antenna orientation

The present technology enables inter-network routing by dynamically optimizing data paths for traffic destined for wired clients attached to a wireless access point in a wireless mesh network with a plurality of wireless access points. The present technology can also influence steering of wireless device connections within the wireless mesh network when high amounts of data traffic are exchanged between nearby mesh wireless access points.

Ethernet bridging in SDN-based wireless mesh networks

Optimal determination of wireless antenna configurations may be provided. A computing device may direct an antenna array of an Access Point (AP) to generate a wide beamwidth, to locate a cluster of two or more stations. Upon locating the cluster, the AP can narrow the beamwidth, and, with the narrower beamwidth, receive a key performance indicator (KPI) from at least one of the two or more stations in the cluster. The computing device may then generate a statistical model, based on the KPI and an antenna vector of the antenna array. Based on the statistical model, the computing device can determine a second antenna vector to optimize the KPI for one or more of the client stations. The computing device can then modify the antenna state of the AP to generate the determined antenna vector.

Adaptive beamwidth switching and beam steering in Large Public Venue (LPV) smart antenna system

Optimal determination of wireless network pathway configurations may be provided. A computing device may detect, at a first network Access Point (AP), interference on a channel with a second AP. Then, the computing device can check availability of a redundant radio at the second AP. Based on the availability, the computing device can establish a new radio link with the redundant radio at the second AP and reroute data traffic over the new radio link to the second AP. After establishing the new radio link, the computing device can then sever the channel with the second AP.

Optimal determination of wireless network pathway configurations may be provided. A computing device may establish Multi-Access Point (AP) coordination between at least a first AP and a second AP. The first AP can determine an uplink operation is scheduled. When an uplink is scheduled, the first AP can switch its antenna to a narrow beamwidth. The first AP can then receive uplink transmissions from at least a client in the coverage area of the narrow beamwidth. After the uplink transmission, the first AP can then switch the antenna to a larger beamwidth for a next Multi-AP coordination operation.

A plurality of edge computing devices available to execute a computing task for a client device is identified, and a first latency of transmitting data among the plurality of edge computing devices is determined. A second latency of transmitting data from the client device to the plurality of edge computing devices is determined, and a set of edge computing devices, from the plurality of edge computing devices, is determined to execute the computing task based at least in part on the first and second latencies. Execution of the computing task is facilitated using the set of edge computing devices, where the client device transmits a portion of the computing task directly to each edge computing device of the set of edge computing devices.
