The method includes obtaining, by a system control processor manager, a telemetry request associated with a composed information handling system from a user; in response to obtaining the telemetry request: identifying a transaction identifier associated with the telemetry request; identifying telemetry intent associated with the telemetry request; aggregating telemetry data based on the telemetry intent and a telemetry data map entry associated with the transaction identifier to obtain aggregated telemetry data; and providing the aggregated telemetry data to the user.

The NIC may actively screen for access patterns in use of the emulated storage devices that indicate compute complexes may be compromised. When doing so, the processing may be done locally on the NIC.

An information handling system may include a processor; a network interface; and a physical storage resource having data stored thereon that is usable by a virtual resource that is executable on the processor. The network interface may accelerate migration of the data to a destination system by, in response to a command from a virtual machine manager: offloading, from the processor, a copying process configured to copy the data to the destination system; tracking portions of the data that are changed by the virtual resource during the copying process; notifying the virtual machine manager that a designated checkpoint has been reached in the copying process; causing the virtual resource to pause; completing the copying process; and causing the virtual resource to resume and use the copied data at the destination instead of the data on the physical storage resource.

If the storage device determines that the autonomous compute signature matches the data that was stored in the memory subsystem, it retrieves an autonomous compute application from the autonomous compute storage device signature/application provisioning system, and executes the autonomous compute application to perform compute operations that are associated with the data that was stored in the memory subsystem and generate at least one compute operation result.

Techniques described herein relate to a method for performing state management services for composed information handling systems. A Logically Composed System (LCS) resource policy enforcement system includes resource devices coupled to an LCS provisioning administrator device, a client system, and an orchestrator device coupled to the resource devices and the client system. The orchestrator device uses a first subset of the resource devices to provide an LCS to the client system based on a workload intent provided by the client system, associates the LCS with a client identifier for the client system, and tags each of the first subset of the resource devices being used to provide the LCS with the client identifier. The orchestrator device then identifies a LCS policy for the LCS and applies the LCS policy to each of the first subset of the resource devices tagged with the client identifier to cause the LCS policy to be enforced on the client system and the LCS provisioning administrator device.

An autonomous compute storage device system includes a computing device and a storage device that is coupled to the computing device. The storage device identifies a storage operation for a storage subsystem that is included in the storage device and, in response, performs the storage operation and stores data in a memory subsystem that is accessible to the storage device as part of the performance of the storage operation. If the storage device determines that an autonomous compute signature matches the data that was stored in the memory subsystem, it executes an autonomous compute application to perform compute operations that are associated with the data that was stored in the memory subsystem and generate at least one compute operation result.

Techniques described herein relate to a method for performing computational offloads for composed information handling systems. The method includes obtaining, by a system control processor associated with a composed information handling system, a computational offload request associated with a dataset from an application executing on an at least one compute resource set; in response to obtaining the computational offload request: identifying a dataset location associated with the dataset in the composed information handling system; identifying resources of the composed information handling system capable of performing the computational offload request; selecting a resource of the resources to perform the computational offload; and initiating performance of the computational offload request on the selected resource.

A distributed function data transformation system includes a distributed function packet provisioning device coupled to compute systems. The distributed function packet provisioning device receives a request to perform a data transformation including data transformation operations, and determines a respective function for performing each data transformation operation. The distributed function packet provisioning device generates a distributed function packet including a function list identifying the respective functions, a data identifier identifying data upon which the respective functions should be performed, and a function performance identifier configured to identify one of the respective functions to perform on the data. The distributed function packet provisioning device then transmits the distributed function packet to a first compute system to cause it to perform a first function identified in the function list and transmit the distributed function packet to a second compute system to cause it to perform a second function identified in the function list.
