An improvement to bimetallic pipe thermometers utilizing insulating tubular seats. The present invention improves the insulating tubular seat by closing off the tail slot along a proximal end thereof with a bridge or stop. Going forward, users of such bimetallic pipe thermometers no longer need worry about the tail of the bimetallic coil sensor unintentionally slipping out of what is currently an opened-ended tail slot.

In certain embodiments, a computer-implemented method includes accessing first and second data associated with a semantic network, the first data indicating a first plurality of nodes within the semantic network and a first plurality of relationships between the first plurality of nodes at a first time, and the second data indicating a second plurality of nodes within the semantic network and a second plurality of relationships between the second plurality of nodes at a second time. The method further includes generating a first waveform from the first data and a second waveform from the second data. The waveforms indicate an activity level of each of the nodes within the semantic network. The method further includes analyzing the semantic network using the generated first and second waveforms.

A process and system for treating sludge are provided. Sludge is dewatered by introducing pressurized air to the sludge, while the sludge is being moved continuously. The air strips the sludge of its water, thus increasing total solids captured with respect to time. The throughput of the system is therefore also increased. In addition, the pressurized air passing through the sludge support purges contaminants from the pores of the support, thus keeping them clean without the necessity to backwash same.

An apparatus for biasing a portion of a seat belt shoulder harness away from a portion of a human chest. The apparatus comprises a body portion including a first end portion, a second end portion, and an intermediate portion. The body portion is deformable between a first and a second position. In the first position the intermediate portion is substantially non-coplanar with the first and second end portions, and in the second position, the intermediate portion is substantially coplanar with the end portions. The body portion is biased in the first position and is secured to the seat belt shoulder harness.
