An apparatus and method to support a device from a platform is provided. The apparatus can comprise a clamp attached to the apparatus at the platform, a mount plate to receive the device, and a clutch assembly interconnecting the mount plate with the clamp. The clutch assembly can be operable to maintain a generally same pre-defined alignment of the mount plate and supported device during movement of the mount plate from a raised position of the mount plate above the platform to a lowered position of the mount plate below the platform.

Mounting apparatus in support of a device from a platform

An electrical-mechanical system may be used in electrophysiology and hemodynamic studies. The system may include a mounting arrangement couplable to a support surface for supporting a patient. At least one catheter input module may be electrically and mechanically coupled to the mounting arrangement, the catheter input module being connectable to catheters for use in the patient. A central processing device may be attached to the support surface and placed in communication with the mounting arrangement.

Electro-mechanical system for electrophysiology and hemodynamic studies

A catheter tip of a catheter including at least a power conductor and a data conductor for obtaining data of a subject of interest. The catheter tip may comprise a support member defining an actuator sleeve, a sensor compartment, and a seal pocket. An actuator may be disposed in the actuator sleeve and coupled to the power conductor. A sensor may be disposed in the sensor compartment and coupled to the data conductor. A bearing/seal may be installed in the support member and coupled to the actuator and the sensor. A cover may be coupled to the support member and may define a transparent window exposing the sensor to the subject of interest, wherein the catheter tip may be coupled to the catheter in the seal pocket.

Catheter tip

A cable connector assembly for connecting two cables, with each cable including multiple electrical conductors. The cable connector assembly may include a first enclosure having an outer surface and defining a pivot point, a plurality of externally accessible electrical connectors disposed at the outer surface of the first enclosure and configured to be coupled to the electrical conductors in one of the cables, a second enclosure configured to couple with the first enclosure about the pivot point in a mating configuration, and a plurality of electrical contacts disposed in the second enclosure. The contacts may be configured to releaseably receive one of the electrical connectors. The electrical connectors are configured in an outer array and an inner array on the circuit board. The outer array is coupled to a cable shield. The inner array is coupled to one of a data conductor and an electric power conductor.
