Semi-crystalline, thermoplastic polyolefin block copolymers comprising: (A) A first polyolefin A block comprising isotactic poly(1-butene) (iPB); (B) A polyolefin B block comprising an ethylene and/or alpha-olefin/1-butene copolymer or terpolymer; and (C) A second polyolefin A block comprising isotactic poly(1-butene) (iPB); the A and B blocks bonded to one another to form a block copolymer in which the first and second polyolefin A blocks are joined to and separated by the polyolefin B block. In one embodiment the polyolefin block copolymer is a BAB block copolymer.

Thermally conductive materials comprising an olefin block composite and a thermally conductive filler, where the thermally conductive filler is present in an amount sufficient to increase the thermal conductivity of the olefin block composite relative to the olefin block composite in its neat state. Disclosed herein is a multilayer film comprising two outer layers; where each outer layer comprises polyethylene; two tie layers; where each tie layer comprises a crystalline block composite; where each tie layer has a first face and a second face that are opposed to each other, and where the first face of each tie layer contacts at least one outer layer; and a core layer; where the core layer comprises a polypropylene; where the second face of each tie layer contacts the core layer. Disclosed herein is a method that includes coextruding the aforementioned multilayered film.

Multilayered polyolefin films, methods of manufacture thereof and articles comprising the same

The present disclosure provides a composition. In an embodiment a composition is provided and includes: (A) a carboxylic-functionalized ethylene/a-olefin interpolymer having (i) a density from 0.855 g/cc to 0.895 g/cc; and (ii) a melt viscosity, at 177&#xb0; C., less than, or equal to, 50,000 mPa&#xb7;s; and (B) a propylene-based interpolymer having (i) a density from 0.870 g/cc to 0.890 g/cc; and (ii) a melt viscosity, at 177&#xb0; C., less than, or equal to, 50,000 mPa&#xb7;s.

Adhesive composition

The invention provides functionalized block composites and crystalline block composites. In particular, the invention provides a functionalized olefin-based polymer formed from at least (A) and (B): (A) a crystalline block composite comprising: a block copolymer comprising a propylene-based crystalline block and crystalline ethylene-based block; a propylene-based crystalline polymer; and, a crystalline ethylene-based polymer; and (B) at least one functionalization agent or a functionalized olefin-based polymer formed from at least (A) and (B): (A) a crystalline block composite comprising: a block copolymer comprising a propylene-based crystalline block and crystalline ethylene-based block; a propylene-based crystalline polymer; and, a crystalline ethylene-based polymer; and (B) at least one functionalization agent.

Functionalized block composite and crystalline block composite compositions

A thermoplastic vulcanizate composition includes (A) greater than 15 wt % of a block composite that has (i) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer in which the alpha-olefin is an alpha olefin monomer having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms and the diene is a diene monomer having from 2 to 25 carbon atoms, (ii) a propylene based polymer, and (iii) a block copolymer comprising a soft block and a hard block in which the soft block has the same composition as the ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene polymer and the hard block has the same composition as the propylene based polymer; and (B) a remainder of a curative system and optionally at least one of a vulcanizable elastomer, a thermoplastic polyolefin, and an oil.
