A toy vehicle having an interactive feature, the toy vehicle comprising a body at least two wheels rotatably coupled to the body; and a tongue actuation mechanism moveably coupled to the body, the tongue actuation mechanism including a tongue extender having an engagement portion, the tongue actuation mechanism is adapted to enable selective movement of the tongue extender from a storage position to a capture position, where in the capture position the tongue extender extends downwards approaching a ground surface for capture of an object to the engagement portion of the tongue extender.

Interactive toy vehicle

A toy vehicle trackway set includes a launcher and an entrance track coupled to a stunt loop which in turn supports an exit track. Freely rolling toy vehicles are launched from the toy vehicle launcher to traverse the stunt loop and exit via the exit track. A toy vehicle trap configured to generally resemble a fanciful monster or alien is supported upon the stunt loop and includes a bistable pivotally secured head. The head is pivotable between a first stable position in which toy vehicles are able to avoid the trap and traverse the loop and a second capture position in which toy vehicles are diverted from the track loop into the head of the alien or monster. The bistable support of the pivotal head causes the head to move from its non capture position to a capture position when a sufficient amount of energy has been transferred from a toy vehicle traversing the stunt loop to the trap mechanism.

A toy vehicle includes a chassis supported by a plurality of wheels. A body includes a jaw which supports a plurality of teeth and is pivotally secured with respect to the chassis. A lever mechanism is coupled to the body and jaw and operates in response to user imposed force to configure the vehicle in either a closed or open mouth configuration.

A toy vehicle includes a supporting chassis having a plurality of rolling wheels secured thereto. The chassis supports an audio circuit, a battery and an audio transducer together with a pair of switch contacts configured to provide a growling sound when the switch contacts touch. The chassis further supports an articulated body having a cab portion and rear portion resembling a standard truck joined in a pivotal attachment. A shaft and cam mechanism is coupled to a movable arm in a cooperative arrangement in which pivotal motion of the movable arm closes the switch contacts activating the audio circuit and raising the cab and rear portion of the truck body to bear sets of hidden teeth at the front of the toy vehicle.

A toy vehicle having a base portion; a top portion; and a mechanical arrangement linking the base portion to the top portion for causing the top portion to move to a number of different positions with respect to the base portion, the aforementioned arrangement including a pair of pivoting axles, receptacles for pivotably fixing the axles at selected positions adjacent the base portion, a pair of arms extending from each of the axles, each of the arms having an end, and an arrangement pivotably fixing the ends of the arms extending from each axle to pivot at selected positions adjacent the top portion.
