A children's building system is comprised of panels that can be connected together to form a structure formed from one or more layers of connected panels. The panel includes a connecting flange along one side edge and a channel member along an opposite side edge. The channel member is sized, configured, and shaped to receive the connecting flange of an adjacent panel, such that panels can be connected together to form a 'wall'. In one embodiment, the system includes a connector to vertically connect the panels. The connector defines upper and lower channels or slots and can rest on a lower panel and receive an upper panel, thereby enabling a second level of panels to be formed over the first level of panels. In another embodiment, the panels include a tongue on an upper edge and an downwardly opening slot in the bottom edge, wherein the tongue is sized and shaped to be received in the slot. In both instances, vertical walls of a desired height can be constructed, but the ability to form horizontal 'floor' or &#x201c;ceiling&#x201d; surfaces is substantially prevented.

Children's building system

A canopy is provided for a tricycle which can be easily assembled and mounted on a tricycle and removed from the tricycle. The canopy comprise a lower transverse member which is mounted on the shoulder or back tube members of the tricycle; a pair of side members which are mounted on the lower transverse member; an upper transverse member which is mounted on the side members, and a roof member which is mounted on the side members and held in place by the upper transverse member. As will be described below, the components of the canopy engage each other to form a sturdy canopy in which the components will not move relative to each other and in which the canopy will not move relative to the tricycle. Further, the canopy can be assembled and disassembled without the use of tools.

Removable canopy for a tricycle

An educational device is provided which can be used to teach arithmetic. The educational device comprises a track having a scale on an outer surface of said track. The scale is comprised of a plurality of evenly spaced apart unit markings, the markings being spaced apart by a unit length. Blocks are provided which are slidingly received on the track. Each block has a length based on the unit length, and indicium is provided on the each block to identify the length of the block in unit lengths. When a set of blocks is positioned on the track, the end of the last block will line up with a unit marking on the scale representing the overall length of the set of blocks in 'units', and hence showing the sum of the lengths of the set of blocks placed on the track. By adding and removing blocks to the track, addition and subtraction 'facts' can be visually taught.

Visual arithmetic teaching device

In one embodiment of the present invention, a steering mechanism for a children's toy vehicle comprises a non-circular wheel piece connectable to a wheel turning mechanism of a toy vehicle. An arcuate front portion extends along the front periphery of the wheel piece. Preferably, the steering mechanism further comprises a curved rear portion along the rear periphery of the wheel piece. In one preferred embodiment of the present invention, the steering mechanism includes a rear portion which is nested between two end portions of the front portion and the front portion and the rear portion form a tulip shape. In a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the steering mechanism and wheel piece is combined with a front wheel frame which is connected to the wheel piece, a front tricycle wheel mounted to the front wheel frame, and a rear wheel frame which is pivotably coupled the front wheel frame. Two rear tricycle wheels are mounted to the rear wheel frame. The wheel piece of the steering mechanism is connected to the front wheel frame at a point eccentric to the wheel piece, and optionally is connected to the front wheel frame at a point offset forward from the center of the wheel piece.

Tricycle and steering assembly

In one embodiment of the present invention, a chair assembly kit comprises at least two end pieces and at least two middle pieces including a first middle piece as a chair back and a second middle piece as a chair seat. The middle pieces each include at least two self-locking tabs, one tab each on two opposing sides. The end pieces each include at least two slots configured to receive the self-locking tabs on the middle pieces. The middle pieces selectively couple to the end pieces to form a chair, with the self-locking tabs being received in the slots and configured to selectively lock the middle pieces to the end pieces.

Modular chair

The present invention relates to a rollable artificial mulch carpet that includes a permeable base upon which simulated wood chips have been adhered. In one embodiment, the rollable mulch carpet is manufactured on rolls of varying lengths that are placed onto the soil surfaces of gardening areas to provide a mulch-like surface that allows penetration of moisture and atmosphere to the plants in the garden and a mulch-like appearance that resists deterioration.
