Disclosed are aspects of exemplars of torque-limiting devices, methods and mechanisms exemplars methods may include placing an actuator in a tool containment interface of a handle; movable mounting a tool portion with an actuation catch and a work piece engaging region (WER) in the interface; applying sufficient force to the movable mounting to the handle may be via pins, guides and slots. Said catch may be one of a body catch and a lever catch; and, the actuator terminates on one of a ball shaped end that forms and interface with the body catch and a force lever that forms an interface with the lever catch.

Asymmetrical disposable torque limiting mount and device

Disclosed are aspects of exemplars of torque-limiting devices, methods and mechanisms. A torque limiting device is disclosed, comprising a hollow body with an open proximal end and open distal end forming a handle, an internal wall bisecting said hollow body into a first and a second section on one side having torque limiting movable ramps, a rotatable head section affixed movably to the internal wall with bumps extended from the backside thereof, and a tool mounted to the front side whereby when rotated in a torque limiting direction, the at least one bump stop will pass over the ramp and the application of sufficient torque requirement of said device will depress the ramp, and allow the bump stop to pass over.

Alignment of the at least one visual cue with a sight or mark may be used to estimate or determine usage.

A torque limiting driver with a toothed belt driven use indicator, having a body with a shaft and tool at one end and a counter or indicator at the other end, is disclosed. The indicator is driven by a drive shaft gear and a toothed belt corresponding to movement of the tool. The indicator provides at least one visual cue which corresponds to a predetermined amount of use. Alignment of the at least one visual cue with a sight or mark may be used to estimate or determine usage.
