A battery pack discharging device having a hand-held member and a docking device are provided. The hand-held member has a handle portion, first and second extension members, first and second conductive members, and a resistor. The resistor is disposed in the handle portion between the first and second conductive portions. The device further includes a docking device having a housing and first and second contact members. The first and second extension members are disposed in the first and second apertures, respectively, of the docking device such that the first and second conductive members contact the first and second contact members, respectively.

Battery pack discharging device and method for discharging a battery pack

A fuse lock-out assembly for a battery pack is provided. The assembly includes a first housing having an interior region holding a manual service disconnect lower housing and a manual service disconnect upper housing therein. The assembly further includes a fuse holding housing coupled to the first housing that has a first fuse compartment holding a first fuse therein. The assembly further includes a slidable door that slides from a first operational position to a second operational position. The slidable door covers an open end of the first fuse compartment at the first operational position, and extends over a portion of the manual service disconnect lower housing at the second operational position only if the manual service disconnect upper housing is previously de-coupled from the lower housing.

Fuse lock-out assembly for a battery pack

A battery pack discharging device is provided. The device includes a hand-held member having a handle portion and first and second actuation members extending from the handle portion. The device further includes a docking device having a housing, first and second switches, and a resistor. The housing has first and second apertures extending therethrough. First and second actuation members of the hand-held member are disposed in first and second apertures, respectively, of the housing such that the first and second actuation members transition the first and second switches, respectively, to first and second closed operational positions, respectively, to discharge the battery pack.

A console housing has a top wall formed with an opening that receives an upwardly extending handle of a parking brake. A gap hider includes a close out insert for closing the gap between the opening and the handle. The close out insert is supported on the top wall for limited floating movement so that it will not interfere with the operation of the parking brake handle.
