An enveloping mailing container comprising a substantially opaque front and back side with at least one transparent section defined on the front and/or the back side of the enveloping mailing container. The at least one transparent section allows visualization of contents therein such as dangerous powder or other materials and/or confirmation that no dangerous powder or other materials are present in the container without compromising the confidentiality of the materials legitimately mailed in the enveloping mailing container.

A bag construction for use to distribute flowable material is provided. The bag construction generally includes a first and second panel sections and one or more side gusset panel sections. An internal gusset member may be positioned inside the bag construction, between the first and second panel sections. A tape is disposed inside the bag construction and secures portions of end edges to other sections. In preferred embodiments, a bag construction includes an openable and reclosable closure arrangement and an anti-tamper arrangement.

A device and method for growing vegetation. The device and method can be used for repairing a divot in a grass lawn. The device includes a packet having a water-soluble film surface that contains a mixture of soil and seeds. An example device includes a water-containing device in the packet. When the packet is placed on the ground, such as the divot, and subjected to water, the film dissolves so that the mixture comes into contact with the ground and the seeds can begin to germinate and grow.

A bag construction filled with dispersible material. The bag construction has first and second panel sections, first and second side gusset sections and a bottom gusset panel section. The various panel sections are fastened together to form a generally rectangle shape with a flat bottom. The bottom gusset panel section has one or more distribution apertures in it. A removable panel layer is provided for covering the one or more apertures. When the removable panel layer is removed, the bag can be held so that the dispersible material disperses through the apertures as appropriate.

A pouch construction has a flexible stand-up pouch having first and second opposite panels and a bottom or base gusset. The flexible pouch has a seal perimeter surrounding an open interior. In a portion of the seal perimeter, there is provided a peel seal region. The flexible pouch construction has an unsealed region, along a perimeter edge, spaced from the interior of the pouch by the peel seal region. As a result, in the unsealed region, the pouch panels can be spread apart allowing a straw or similar member to be pushed between the panels, in the region of the peel seal, to open the pouch for access to a drink contained inside. Methods of constructing such arrangements, and preferred pouch blanks that can be filled to form such arrangements are described.
