Augmented reality is used to display graphical elements overlaid on a continually updating image of an area around an augmented reality device (e.g., a mobile device). The graphical element may contain geographical location information about a grave of an ancestor and/or biographical information about the ancestor. The continually updating image is captured by a camera of the augmented reality device and updates in response to time and motion of the augmented reality device. Based on orientation data and geographical location data collected by the augmented reality device, the graphical element is updated and displayed on the mobile device.

Providing grave information using augmented reality

According to the invention, a method for displaying genealogical records may include providing a plurality of genealogical records, providing a plurality of icons, and associating each genealogical record with an icon. The method may also include providing a genealogical display and positioning a first icon in a docking field of the genealogical display. The method may further include displaying on a display device the first icon in the docking field, information about the genealogical record associated with the first icon, and other icons that represent genealogical records linked to the genealogical record represented by the first icon, where the other icons are arranged according to their relationship with the first icon. The method may additionally include replacing the first icon in the docking field with a second icon representing a different genealogical record and updating the icons displayed on the display device without shifting focus from the displayed icons.

Methods and systems for implementing ancestral relationship graphical interface

Methods, devices and systems for implementing an interactive display of ancestor-to-ancestor relationships are presented. The method includes displaying on a display device of a computer system, a user interface for displaying one or more genealogical charts including one or more nodes. The method further includes receiving, from an input device of the computer system, a selection of a first node and a second node. Then, in response to receiving the selection of the first and second nodes, the method includes calculating a sequence of relationships connecting the first node to the second node. Finally, the method includes organizing the sequence of relationships into one or more steps, wherein each step contains a sequential subset of nodes and relationships that can be displayed at the same time, and sequentially displaying the nodes and relationships in each step on the display device.

Ancestor-to-ancestor relationship linking methods and systems

The present invention discloses an air fan turbine positioned horizontally or vertically in close proximity to the exhaust fan system of air handler systems. These turbine units catch the exhausted air flow from the exhaust ports of these air handler units to drive the turbine blades which are attached to a generator. As the propellor blades spin, they generate electricity. Thus, the man made air flow known as exhaust from the air handler systems is used to produce electricity. This invention not only uses man made air flow, but also repositions the air turbine 90&#xb0; from a horizontal position to a vertical position to receive wind air from the atmosphere. When the air handler unit is turned off, a signal is sent to mechanically move the air turbine to the vertical position to redirect itself to then catch natural wind airflow on both roof top and ground mounted units.
