In some embodiments, an archery bow comprises a rotatable member configured for rotation about a first rotatable member axis. A cable anchor is attached to the rotatable member and rotatable with respect to the rotatable member about an anchor axis. The anchor axis is offset from the rotatable member axis. The bow can further comprise a power cable anchored to said cable anchor.

In at least one embodiment, an archery bow comprises a riser supporting a first limb and a second limb. The first limb supports an axle. A first fastener extends through the first limb and a second fastener extends through the first limb. The first and second fasteners each apply a compressive force to the first limb member. The axle extends between the first fastener and the second fastener.

A bow stabilizer that reduces bow shock transmitted to archer's hand includes a plurality of weights disposed about a central shaft. An elastomeric material supports the weights and couples the weights to the central shaft. The central shaft is connected to the frame of the bow. Bow vibration is damped as the central shaft vibrates out of phase with the suspended weights.

In at least one embodiment, an archery bow comprises a riser supporting a first limb and a second limb. The first limb supports a first rotatable member that defines a first axis of rotation. The second limb supports a second rotatable member that defines a second axis of rotation. The first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation move with respect to one another as the bow is drawn from a brace condition to a drawn condition. The bow defines a reference plane that includes the first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation, wherein a distance between a predetermined location on the riser and the reference plane is greater in the brace condition than in the drawn condition.

In some embodiments, an archery bow is configurable between a first draw orientation and a second draw orientation. The bow comprises a limb and a limb support. The limb defines an unsupported length in either orientation, wherein the unsupported length of the limb is less in the second draw orientation than in the first draw orientation.

In some embodiments, a crossbow system comprises a crossbow comprising a stock and a bow portion. The bow portion comprises a bowstring having a nocking point. The crossbow defines a shooting axis. The stock comprises a rope anchor located below the shooting axis. The crossbow system further comprises a cocking rope constructed and arranged to engage the bowstring and to be anchored to the rope anchor.

In at least one embodiment, a crossbow trigger assembly comprises a housing, a string catch and a trigger arranged to release the string catch. A safety member is moveable between safe and fire orientations, which prevents actuation of the trigger while in the safe orientation. An arrow sensing member is moveable between first and second orientations and prevents the safety member from assuming the fire orientation when the arrow sensing member is in the first orientation.

In some embodiments, a compound archery bow comprises a riser, first and second limbs and first and second rotatable members. A bowstring extends between the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member. A power cable is biased in a direction away from the riser by a cable guard comprising a mounting portion attached to the riser, a flexible portion and a cable engaging portion. In some embodiments, the cable guard comprises a roller.
