A fluid flow control device includes a body having an inlet connection, an outlet connection, and a discharge port. A supply path extends between the inlet connection and the outlet connection and a booster module is disposed within the body. The booster module includes a control element and an actuator element and defines an exhaust path extending between the outlet connection and the discharge port. A supply port is disposed within the booster module along the supply path between the inlet connection and the outlet connection.

Volume booster with stabilized trim

A fluid flow control device includes a body having an inlet connection, an outlet connection, and a discharge port. A supply path extends between the inlet connection and the outlet connection and a booster module is disposed within the body. The booster module includes a control element and an actuator element and defines an exhaust path extending between the outlet connection and the discharge port. A supply port is disposed within the booster module along the supply path between the inlet connection and the outlet connection and at least a first damping means operatively connected to the booster module.

A control valve assembly including a no-bleed pilot valve is disclosed. The pilot valve includes a pressure responsive valve adapted to move in connection with a control parameter, such as downstream fluid pressure. The pressure responsive valve selectively connects certain ports with upper and lower chambers of a control valve actuator so that the upstream and downstream fluid pressures may be used to operate the actuator.

No-bleed pilot for pressure regulating valve

A fluid control valve having a valve body, a cage, and a flexible elastomeric diaphragm with a formed convolution to fully open the cage opening. An elastomeric diaphragm regulator with a flow diverter in the fluid flow path to reduce fluid flow separation and thereby reduce the required flow recovery area before pressure throttling. A raised knife edge seat located on the cage top in a position of stagnant fluid flow to reduce the build-up of contaminants on the seat. An elastomeric diaphragm regulator with a valve actuator coupled to a guided valve stem attached to the regulator diaphragm.

Elastomeric element valve

A pressure unloading pilot operated fluid pressure regulator having a throttling element for controlling fluid flow. A pilot amplifier senses regulator outlet pressure and supplies suitable loading pressure coupled from an inlet supply pressure line through a variable flow restrictor to the throttling element. A check valve has a preset differential pressure defined between the check valve inlet and outlet and is mounted in parallel flow with the flow restrictor to limit the maximum differential pressure across the throttling element to the preset differential pressure of the check valve.

Pressure unloading pilot operated regulator having pressure limiting

A spine therapy and exercise device (10) for conditioning and exercising the muscles associated with the back, abdomen and legs. The device (10) of the present invention includes a belt member (12) and a harness (14). The harness (14) is carried by the belt member (12) and is provided for receiving the arms of the wearer. The harness (14) of the preferred embodiment is fabricated from a pair of straps (16), each being secured at one end (18) to the belt member (12), crossing each other to form an 'X' configuration, and are then being releasably secured to the belt member (12) at their distal ends (20). Adjustment members (26) are provided on each strap (16) for adjusting the size of the harness (14) to the particular wearer by varying the length of the particular strap (16). The belt member (12) includes a torso engagement portion (28), and a leg engagement portion (34) connected in an end-to-end fashion such as to form a continuous loop. At least the proximal end (30) of the torso engagement portion (28) and the distal end (38) of the leg engagement portion (34) are releasably secured to each other. An adjustment member (42) is also provided for varying the length of the loop for various sizes of users, for various types of exercises, and for various resistances during a given exercise. An elastomeric member (44) is provided at each end (30,32) of the torso engagement portion (28), with the leg engagement portion (34) being secured at its ends (36,38) to the elastomeric members (44). A cushion member (52) is received upon the leg engagement portion (34) such that it may slide along the length thereof to adjust for various users and various exercises.

Spine theraphy and exercise device

A stabilizer for fluid pressure regulators enhancing regulator stability without affecting the regulator capacity. A stabilizer cartridge with a flexible flapper element has three flapper apertures symmetrically located around the flapper outer perimeter. Each aperture is centered within a window of the stabilizer. Means are provided to mount the stabilizer in proper location and orientation of the apertures within the regulator lower casing throat to sense downstream pressure without affecting regulator capacity.

Stabilizer for pressure regulator

A regulator valve having a globe type valve body includes a deformable diaphragm for controlling the fluid flow between the a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The deformation of the diaphragm, which is controlled by a pilot pressure introduced into a control chamber within the valve, causes the diaphragm to selectively covers and uncovers a plurality of apertures in a frustoconical baffle to control the flow through the valve. The valve includes a first diaphragm support provided in the control chamber and a second diaphragm support provided on the opposite side of the diaphragm. The second diaphragm support comprises a plurality of concentric cylinders and cross members which form an upper concave surface to correspond to a convex portion of the diaphragm so that the diaphragm is substantially uniformly supported.

A rolling diaphragm regulator valve is affixed in a globe type valve body and includes a non-stretchable fabric reinforced liner for covering and uncovering, by rolling action in response to changes in pressure in a control chamber, a plurality of slots in a baffle positioned between the valve body inlet and outlet. An axially movable spring-biased nose cone, mounted behind the diaphragm, provides a surface over which the diaphragm is draped for controlling substantially all movement of the diaphragm. A travel indicator is operable by movement of the nose cone to provide a visual indication of the position of the valve.

Control regulator having a rolling diaphragm

A rolling diaphragm regulator valve is affixed in a globe type valve body and includes a nonstretchable fabric reinforced elastomer diaphragm for covering and uncovering, by rolling action in response to changes in pressure in a control chamber, a plurality of apertures in a baffle positioned between the valve body inlet and outlet. An axially movable spring-biased nose piece, mounted behind the diaphragm, provides a surface over which the diaphragm is draped for controlling substantially all movement of the diaphragm. A travel indicator is operable by movement of the nose piece to provide a visual indication of the position of the valve. In one embodiment the baffle is notched adjacent to a peripheral mounting surface of the diaphragm, whereat the ends of the fabric reinforcement are exposed to permit entrained gases to escape. Other embodiments include areas of the diaphragm, exposed to the apertures, that have pinholes in the elastomer surface and that have the fabric surface exposed.
