A disposable electrical stimulation device and method for providing therapeutic treatment and pain management in a convenient, compact configuration. Electrode size and shape and relative configuration can be varied according to an intended application and use, or a universal configuration can be provided for use on almost any area of the body. The common structure of communicatively coupled dual electrodes including control circuitry and a power source accommodates a range of different sizes, configurations, stimulation treatment intensities, and other physical and electrical characteristics that can be pre-customized and packaged for specific, limited time use. The device can therefore be used in methods of providing therapy, managing pain, and achieving other treatment goals by electrical stimulation.

Electrical stimulation device and method for therapeutic treatment and pain management

A vibration resistant, positionable equipment mount. The positionable equipment mount including a platform mount, an equipment mount, a first and second pivot clamp, and one or more bars operably coupled to the first and second pivot clamp via ratcheting elbow mounts, wherein the internal bore of the first and second pivot clamps each have an interior circumferential surface characterized by teeth configured to mesh with splines on the respective shafts of the platform and equipment mounts to form ratcheting pivots.

Vibration resistant equipment mount

The electrical nerve stimulation unit in accordance with the present invention generally includes a housing, an input panel, a display panel, a controller, a first channel output, a second channel output, and a power system. While the device is generally described in terms of use as a TENS unit, it must be noted that other nerve stimulation applications for the device are envisioned as well. The myriad of intelligent and proactive programmable software functions and features of the present invention are executed on the controller's microprocessor. For instance, open lead monitoring, soft recovery implementation, compliance monitoring, and enhanced power management are all controlled and monitored through the interfacing of the processor with the various devices and hardware on the unit's hardware platform.

Electrical nerve stimulation device

A multi-mode electrical therapeutic stimulation system. The system includes circuitry for providing interferential stimulation, muscle stimulation, and pulsed DC stimulation with an automatic switchover of electrode configurations between types of interferential and muscle stimulation without the need to manually alter the positioning of the stimulation electrodes. In one embodiment, the system includes a simplified five-button user interface with pre-programmed user display screens and an operator interface through which a medical professional can alter settings, programs, and user configurations. In another embodiment, the system can also include a recharging/docking station having a built-in charging device and data port, providing for an automatic/periodic upload of compliance data from the device when the stimulator is placed in a modem cradle. A method for managing patient care associated with a patient-administered external medical device is also disclosed.

Interferential and neuromuscular electrical stimulation system and apparatus

Insects, debris and the like are prevented from moving into a building via an open door by a fan unit that is mounted on the side of the doorway to extend for the entire length of the door and to direct air outwardly with respect to the building at an oblique angle with respect to a plane containing the doorway. The fan is activated when the door is opened and de-activated when the door is closed.

Portable doorway bug deflector

A system for adapting a hat of the type which is originally provided with only a permanent sweat band, so that the hat can receive a removable, washable, and reusable sweat band. Hats may also be manufactured with the system in place.
