A plastic container used for holding fluid material with an attachable handle is provided. The container includes a body, a plurality of walls, a spout, an attachable handle and a sliding structure. The spout is a hollow, cylindrical portion that extends from an opening in one of the walls. The cylindrical portion is configured to insert or remove the fluid material from the container. The attachable handle includes a rail structure that further includes a pair of non-parallel offset rails and a latch. The latch has a latching surface that is located at the ends of the offset rails farthest from each other. The slide structure includes a generally rectangular projection. The projection further includes a pair of non-parallel offset grooves and a latching surface. The latching surface is located where the grooves are farthest from each other. The offset grooves are adapted to mate with the offset rails and are fully engaged by the offset rails when the latch is engaged with the latching surface.

Method for container and handle attachment

An apparatus is provided in the form of a neck for a plastic bottle or other plastic container. The neck includes an external thread with a constant major diameter that can engage with a bottle cap with an internal thread. The neck has an internal surface with an irregular shape where the internal diameter proximate to the top sealing surface is greater than the internal diameter proximate to the side wall of the plastic bottle. The internal surface of the neck engages with a fitment inserted into the neck of the plastic container to prevent movement of the fitment.

A container and an attachment configured to couple an accessory to the container are provided. The container includes a projection. The attachment defines a slot including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to allow rotation of the attachment relative to the projection with a top portion of the projection in the first portion of the slot. The attachment is configured to retain the projection in a second portion of the slot.

A closure for a microwavable container has a top wall and a skirt with at least one tab formed of a pair of straps and a thumb grip. The tab has an internal bead extending about its inner periphery which provides a shoulder which abuts a shoulder on the bead of the container to retain the closure on the container. The tab can be gripped by the user's thumb to apply force outwardly and upwardly to disengage the internal bead.

A container for a product which off-gases has a container body with a base wall, sidewall and a large mouth at its upper end bounded by a lip and having an outwardly extending shoulder adjacent the upper end of the sidewall, and a foil seal which extends over the mouth and is adhered to the lip. The foil seal having a valve therein permitting gases in the container body to exit there through. A cap having a top wall and a depending skirt with an internal peripheral snap bead abuts the shoulder on the sidewall of the container body. The top wall of the cap has a depending flexible ring seal bearing on the lip and the inside surface of the cap has channels extending downwardly along the inside surface of the skirt. Gas pressure in the container body will cause the valve in the foil seal to release gas from the interior of the container body into the space in the cap and the pressure of the gas in the ring seal is deflected from the lip to allow the gas to flow thereby and outwardly in the channels in the cap.

A pocket-size hand-held container for containing a supply of consumer items comprises a frame, a lid, and preferably a bag is disposed in the container for holding the items being stored. The frame includes front and back portions, top and bottom portions, and side portions, the frame forming an internal storage compartment that stores the items. The front portion forms an access opening for the storage compartment, the access opening being situated closer to the top end portion than to the bottom end portion. The lid is attached to the front portion to be slid linearly between fully closed and fully open positions. In its fully closed position, the lid overlies the access opening, and in its fully open position, the lid lies within the footprint of the container. A securement structure formed by the lid and the frame yieldably holds the lid in the closed position. The bag is formed of a flexible plastic material and includes an openable window situated behind the access opening.

Bottle and cap

A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material in a selected one of a multiplicity of configurations comprises a container having a squeezable body and neck with a discharge opening at its upper end. Engaged with the container is a closure body of generally circular cross section with a top wall and skirt. The top wall has a post with a discharge passage therethrough aligned with the neck discharge opening. A generally circular rotating disc is rotatably disposed on the closure body top wall and has a central hub seating said post. The post has an aperture alignable with the hub discharge passage for passage of viscous material therethrough. The disc has a multiplicity of flow openings spaced about the disc in a circular array and represents a multiplicity of configurations. The disc also has a multiplicity of flow channels extending from the post to the flow openings of the disc, and it is rotatable to align the flow channel of the selected flow opening with the aperture in the post to permit viscous material to flow through the neck and top wall of the closure body into the post and outwardly in flow channels to a selected disc discharge opening.
