An ink composition comprising (a) water, (b) pigment particles, (c) at least one humectant, (d) at least one polyurethane having an average molecular weight of at least about 10,000 and a sufficient number of acid groups to provide an acid number from 60 to about 130, and being present at a weight concentration of greater than 0.7%, and (e) at least one water soluble acrylic polymer comprising carboxylic acid groups, present at a weight concentration of greater than 0.6%, wherein the acid groups on the polyurethane and acrylic polymers are at least partially neutralized only with a monovalent inorganic base.

An ink jet ink composition comprising an aqueous media and a pigment dispersion comprising a specific carbon black pigment and a polymeric dispersant wherein said polymeric dispersant is a copolymer comprising at least a hydrophobic methacrylate or acrylate monomer containing an aliphatic chain having greater than or equal to 12 carbons; and a hydrophilic methacrylic or acrylic acid monomer; wherein said copolymer comprises at least 10% by weight of the methacrylate or acrylate monomer and at least 5% by weight of the methacrylic or acrylic acid monomer; and wherein the copolymer comprises, in total, 20 to 95 weight % of hydrophobic monomer.

Polymeric black pigment dispersions and ink jet ink compositions

A tensioner device for applying tension to a flexible fence slat includes a bracket assembly having attachment webs for attachment to a fence post and a pair of vertically spaced, horizontally oriented flanges. A tensioning cylinder is mounted for rotation within a pair of apertures provided, respectively, in the horizontally oriented flanges, the tensioning cylinder formed with a through-slot extending longitudinally between a pair of radial flanges. The through-slot has a length substantially equal to a width of the flexible fence slat and adapted to receive one end of the fence slat. A ratchet wheel is formed at one end of the cylinder, between one of the radial flanges and one of the horizontally oriented flanges, and a pawl is pivotably mounted on the adjacent one of the horizontally oriented flanges for engagement with the ratchet so as to permit rotation of the tensioning cylinder in a tensioning direction but to prevent rotation of the tensioning cylinder in an opposite direction. A finger tab on the pawl facilitates moving the pawl into or out of engagement with the ratchet.

A thermal film structure includes at least first and second imaging layers which have different processing characteristics. That is, the first imaging layer is processable at a first temperature while the second imaging layer is processable at a second temperature which is higher than the first temperature. The first and second imaging layers can be coated on or integrated into the film structure. This permits the addition of metadata on the low temperature layer which can be obtained without effecting the development of images on the high temperature layer. Also disclosed is a method for processing the thermal film.

A retail display system for a desk chairmat includes a display stand having at least one support component thereon. A desk chairmat having a longitudinal fold line, is folded in half about the fold line and a wrap extends about the chairmat in the folded condition. The chairmat is suspended from the support component. In another embodiment, the retail display system comprises a display stand including a pair of vertical standards and one or more horizontal reinforcing rods; at least two laterally spaced support components mounted on the display stand; a desk chairmat having four side edges, with a pair or hang tabs laterally spaced along one of the side edges; wherein the desk chairmat is suspended from the support components by the hang tabs.

A desk chairmat includes a semi-rigid substantially planar member having four side edges, an upper side of the chairmat having a substantially smooth surface and at least one hang tab attached to the chairmat along one or more of the side edges. The invention relates to single use cameras. In particular it relates to a single use camera that incorporates a motion sensor. The motion sensor enables automatic activation of various camera features and utilities. These include the automatic activation of such normal camera actions as shutter release and the taking of a photograph, activation of a flash unit either to aid in the taking of a photograph or as a warning or signaling device and activation of an incorporated audible alarm.

A film spool cartridge and/or camera contain a duplitized color silver halide photographic element having an ISO of at least 25 and at least one light sensitive imaging layer or color recording unit on each side of the support. Such elements can be rapidly processed to provide desired color images. The film spool cartridge includes a spindle, the element wound around the spindle and an aperture for film transport. The camera includes a housing internally forming an exposure plane locator, a lens, a cartridge holder for receiving the film spool cartridge, and a shutter positioned between the lens and the exposure plane for imagewise exposure of the duplitized element.

A color photographic element having a support bearing at least one radiation sensitive emulsion layer comprising dispersing medium and silver halide grains is disclosed. The emulsion layer is a tabular grain silver halide emulsion layer Wherein at least 50 percent of total grain projected area is accounted for by tabular grains (a) bounded by {100} major faces having adjacent edge ratios of less than 10, (b) each having an aspect ratio of at least 2, and (c) internally at their nucleation site, containing iodide and at least 50 mole percent chloride. The emulsion layer has in reactive association an image dye-forming compound and a compound that contains a photographically useful group and is capable of reacting with oxidized developing agent to thereby release such group. A process for preparing the radiation sensitive tabular grain silver halide emulsions is also described.

A color negative photographic recording material is described in which low emulsion coverage tabular grain silver halide emulsion imaging units are employed. The silver halide emulsion in at least one of the units comprises grains having a tabularity of between about 50 and 25,000. The imaging unit thickness is less than about 4.0 .mu.m, using a total of no more than 2.0 parts by weight of silver per part of coupler. The imaging unit yields a density of at least 2.0 when exposed and processed.

Color photographic recording material

Silver halide emulsions are disclosed in which at least 50 percent of total grain projected area is accounted for by tabular grains (1) bounded by {100} major faces having adjacent edge ratios of less than 10, (2) each having an aspect ratio of at least 2, and (3) internally at their nucleation site containing iodide and at least 50 mole percent chloride. The emulsions are prepared by a process comprised of the steps of (a) introducing silver and halide salts into a dispersing medium so that nucleation of the tabular grains occurs in the presence of iodide with chloride accounting for at least 50 mole percent of the halide present in the dispersing medium and the pCl of the dispersing medium being maintained in the range of from 0.5 to 3.5 and (b) following nucleation completing grain growth under conditions that maintain the {100} major faces of the tabular grains.
