A direct gas-fired process air heater assembly that utilizes a premix burner applied to a shrink wrap conveyor oven for uniform dissemination of heated air into the a recirculating air stream of a circulating blower, said air circulating blower directing the heated air into the shrink wrap chamber or tunnel for shrinking polymer film around packaged goods for shipment and/or storage. According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are disclosed of the direct gas-fired packaged process air heater assembly construction features including the application of premix burner technology.

A gas-fired heater assembly for use in conjunction with a shrink wrap chamber or tunnel, including a gas-fired heater assembly, said gas-fired heater assembly incorporating an air intake, and having a gas port for injection of combustive gas into the heat chamber for combustion, the heated air combustion directed into the length of an associated heat box, said heat box having a designed opening for uniform dissemination of heated air into a hot air envelop, said hot air envelop being operatively associated with an air circulating blower, said air circulating blower directing air through the regions of the heat box for mixing of the circulating air with the heated air, and directing said mixture of heated air out of the hot air envelop and into the shrink wrap chamber or tunnel for shrinking polymer film about packaged goods for shipment and/or storage.

Hot air heater and blower assembly

A gas heater with specialized controls allows an operator to deploy a single device to heat and to dry when extracting moisture from a structure. The heater has a fan in a blow thru arrangement ahead of a burner. The burner uses either natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas. The heater has air flow, fan motor, temperature, and ignition controls and sensors. The heater delivers high temperature air to the structure that hastens evaporation as the heated air absorbs great concentrations of water vapor. Then the moisture laden heated air exits the building as the heater draws in fresh air, ducts it into a structure, and pressurizes the structure. This moisture laden air then leaks from the building through select windows using the energy imparted from the fan and then exhausts the moisture to the atmosphere, drying the structure.

An infra-red heater assembly takes on the conditions that afflict buildings: bed bugs, termites, other insects, molds, bacteria, and the like, and their resulting odors, and other contaminants. The assembly includes a portable electric infra-red emitting panel system with vertically stacked panels that distribute heat energy to the entire height of a wall. Removable panel covers over the infra-red heating elements protect them from damage during transport and when opened, act as deflectors, to direct, the radiant energy, widthwise, to restrict the line of site energy transferred to a wall. The heating panels are regulated by room air and wall temperature sensors to prevent structural damage and fire during usage of the invention. The infra-red heater may be pivotally mounted within its supporting structure so as to direct heat in various angular directions within the building being treated.

Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure include devices for monitoring and indicating the completion of eradication of a pest infestation in a space in which heating is utilized for eradication. In an exemplary embodiment, a device includes a sensor configured to sense temperature proximate the device, and a visual indicator configured to provide indication of status. The device further includes a processor that is connected to the sensor and visual indicator. The processor is configured to determine whether the sensed temperature exceeds the MINIMUM LETHAL TEMPERATURE, and configured to determine occurrence of completion of a minimum heating duration required for eradication in which the sensed temperature exceeds the MINIMUM LETHAL TEMPERATURE. The processor is further configured to activate the visual indicator subsequent to completion of the minimum heating duration, to thereby provide visible indication that the minimum heating duration for eradication of a pest infestation has elapsed.

A gas burner assembly, including its gas intake manifold, in combination with upper and lower tiered baffles, and includes the side chambers for regulation of flow if air through a draw in and through type of burner assembly, to provide heated air for a building. Various slots are provided in both the side chambers, and are custom designed for application to select tiers of the upper and lower baffles, to precisely regulate the flow of air into the combustion chamber, and regulate the type of flame generated, to furnish very precise generation of heat, and BTU output for the various sized burner assemblies.

Burner assembly for location within an air supply housing for heater the burner assembly having opposite side walls, upper and lower tiered baffles, each having connected thereon an air balancing baffle, the air balancing baffles and tiered baffles forming a combustion chamber therebetween, a gas manifold arranged approximately at the intake end of the burner assembly, with an associated shroud for directing air around the gas manifold, and for selectively diverting and directing air through the air balancing baffles, and into the combustion chamber. A diverter is arranged for directing incoming air, and deflectors are provided at the upper and lower front of the shrouds to direct the passage of air into the path of the combustion gases. Slots are provided within the brackets holding the front of the shrouds to reduced heat generation, and the arrangement of various slots provided within the tiered baffles provided fo reducing hot spots.

In a burner assembly for location within an air supply housing for a heater and disposed for inducing the movement of air through a blower and into and around a burner assembly during heater operation to create a supply of heated air for a space to be warmed, the burner assembly being of the type having opposite side walls, and upper and lower tiered baffles forming a combustion chamber for reception and combustion of gas delivered from a gas manifold arranged approximately at the intake end of the burner assembly, a shroud arranged above and below the upper and lower tiered baffles, for directing air into an intake at the back of the gas manifold, and for diverting air through the baffles into the combustion chamber, a diverter arranged at the back end of the gas manifold for directing incoming air between the shroud and the tiered baffles, and a deflector arranged at the upper front of the top of the shroud, to delay the passage of air into the path of the combusting gases, with the sides of the combustion chamber being flared outwardly, to minimize the development of hot spots.

In a ventilating hood of the type incorporating a supply chamber, an exhaust outlet, one or both of which incorporate air blower or moving means, such as fans, pressure taps are incorporated at strategic locations about the supply and exhaust chambers, generally at the location of their separating partitions, as where the air is diffused as passing through the hood, so that pressure drops can be readily determined, and airflows at these locations may be properly set as determined from previously prepared graphs.
