A link for connecting a pair of spaced members having a set of aligned holes, together, generally including a bolt having threaded end portions and a pair of upset portions based inwardly relative to the threaded end portions thereof, a pair of inner grommets each formed of a resilient material, mountable on the bolt and having a portion functional to snap-fit on one of the upset portions of the bolt when such grommet is mounted on the bolt, a pair of outer grommets each formed of a resilient material, mountable on the bolt and cooperable with one of the inner grommets to engage one of the members therebetween and a pair of nuts threadable on the threaded portions of the bolt, engageable with an exterior grommet mounted on the bolt.

Link assembly

An improved latch plate for a seat belt attached to a vehicle C-pillar. The latch plate is produced from a plated metal stamping that has a portion over molded with a hard polypropylene coating. This portion has a slot for pass through of the seat belt webbing that allows free travel of the latch plate in order for the seat occupant to fasten and wear the belt. A surround of soft Santoprene&#xae; 221-55 is over molded over the polypropylene coating for sound reduction.

Seat belt latch plate and method of making same

An automotive suspension assembly providing a jounce stop arrangement. The elastic bumper is placed into a flexible cup. The flexible cup connects to the surface of the cylinder of a strut assembly or other assembly. Upon application of a force upon the elastic bumper, the elastic bumper collapses into the flexible cup. The flexible cup also expands in reaction to the force upon the elastic bumper. The assembly provides dual system of absorbing the energy from an impact in the combination of collapsing and expanding of the elastic bumper and flexible cup.
