Versatile sink rack

A thawing rack. The thawing rack includes a base including a plurality of parallel oriented rods, a first end, and an opposing second end. A pair of outermost rods of a first rack are in sliding engagement with a pair of outermost rods of the base at the first end thereof, and a pair of outermost rods of a second rack are in sliding engagement with the pair of outermost rods of the base at the second end thereof. One or more springs are configured to bias the first rack away from the second rack. The first and second racks can be compressed and slid inwardly toward one another and then released when the thawing rack is positioned within a sink basin. The force exerted by the springs causes feet disposed on the distal ends of the first and second racks to frictionally engage the sidewalls of the sink basin.

The platen is adjustable by means of an attached threaded rod ( ) that threads into a threaded receiver ( ) on one end of the C-frame. This adjustability allows the press tool to be used on various valves having different dimensions and heights.

Valve press tool

The invention consists of a combination fluid-control-switch valve adapted for monitoring water flow in water-supply systems so as to enable a purification or treatment system therein to operate as the water is being used. The valve comprises a two-section housing, wherein an upper section thereof defines a sealed switch compartment having a switch that is actuated by the movement of a magnet mounted to a pivot arm, and a lower independent section defining a flow chamber having an inlet port and an outlet port, and wherein a poppet valve is located in the flow chamber defined by a slidable valve stem that includes a calibrated washer for setting the flow rate of the water passing through the chamber, a back-flow plate preventing the treated water from becoming contaminated when the system is not in use. Attached to the valve stem is a second magnet that moves up and down with the valve stem and thereby causes the movement of the arm mounted magnet to engage the switch in the switch compartment so as to turn the switch on and off as required.

A fluid-flow-control-switch valve having a body structure defined by an elongated tubular housing forming a flow passage, and an integrally formed, sealed, switch compartment containing a switch which is operated remotely from the flow passage by a magnetic flap member hingedly supported in the switch compartment, and positioned to engage the switch when the magnetic flap valve of the one-way-valve device is actuated by the flow of fluid through the flow passage.

A dual-purpose diverter valve designed particularly to be incorporated within an air-pressure system associated with hot spas, tubs and the like, wherein air is pumped into the tub water to create a massaging action therein, the diverter valve comprising an enlarged cylindrical housing having an inlet port and an oppositely disposed outlet port, the inlet port being connected to the air-pump side and the outlet port being connected to the tub side; and wherein the housing thereof defines a transitory chamber in which there is provided a dual-valve arrangement, the dual valve being formed between the inlet port and a back-flow-vent port, the inlet port including an inwardly protruding angular-valve set having a flexible valve-flap member adapted to close the inlet passage when air is not being pumped to the tub, and wherein the flap-valve member is arranged to disengage from the inlet-passage valve set and engage the back-flow-vent port, thereby closing the vent port during air flow through the chamber.

Dual-purpose diverter valve

An automatic pet feed dispenser is provided in the form of a feed drum rotated about a vertical spindle by a motor. The drum is divided into bins by vertical radial panels between a hub and the drum. Each bin is closed at the bottom by a hinged sector panel held in a horizontal position by a support panel having a sector shaped opening over a chute. The hinged sector panels drop as they move into place over the chute which directs dry feed into a tray. At the same time preheated water is added to the feed tray from a metering chamber. A cam actuated switch turns on a thermostat controlled heater and a cam operated valve drains the water into the tray. A float valve refills the metering chamber from a reservoir.
