A combustion air filtration apparatus for filtering combustion air for an engine is disclosed. The combustion air filtration apparatus comprises a combustion air source and a filter system fluidly coupled to the combustion air source and to the engine to receive combustion air from the combustion air source and to supply filtered combustion air for the engine. The filter system comprises a first combustion air filter, a second combustion air filter flow-parallel to the first combustion air filter, and a flow control system fluidly coupled to the first combustion air filter and the second combustion air filter to direct flow of combustion air selectively between the first combustion air filter and the second combustion air filter.

Combustion air filtration apparatus

A harvesting machine includes a chassis, a ground-engaging mechanism for supporting the chassis, and a tank assembly mounted to the chassis for storing a crop material. The tank assembly includes a retractable door for at least partially covering an opening formed in a top of the tank assembly. A mobile sensor assembly includes a rod and a sensor for detecting a weather condition, such that the rod includes a first end coupled to the retractable door and a second end to which the sensor is coupled. The retractable door is operably moved between an open position and a closed position, and the mobile sensor assembly is rotatably moved between a deployed position and a stowed position as the door is moved between the open and closed positions, respectively.

Cooling and debris mitigation systems for use with work vehicle powertrains include a pressurized air source, a plurality of impingement outlets positioned proximate the work vehicle powertrain, and a flow network fluidly coupling the pressurized air source to the impingement outlets. A first vortex tube is positioned in the flow network and configured to separate pressurized airflow received from the pressurized air source into a hot stream and a reduced temperature stream. The first vortex tube includes a vortex tube inlet fluidly coupled to the pressurized air source, an exhaust port through which the hot stream is discharged, and a nozzle through which the reduced temperature stream is discharged. The reduced temperature stream impinges upon at least one of the targeted exterior regions of the work vehicle powertrain to provide cooling thereto and reduce debris accumulation thereon.
