In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a fluidic die is described. The fluidic die includes a substrate and fluid actuators, the fluid actuators being disposed on the substrate. The fluidic die also includes a bond pad region defined on the substrate. The bond pad region includes a high aspect ratio power delivery bond pad with multiple bonding sites and a high aspect ratio power return bond pad with multiple bonding sites.

Examples of molded substrates are described herein. In some examples, a molded substrate may support integrated circuitry. In some examples, the molded substrate and the integrated circuitry are included in a circuitry package for a replaceable print component. In some examples, the molded substrate is relatively flat. In some examples, molding remnants may be on the molded substrate.

Molded substrates

A biological fluid dilution device can include a syringe body including a diluent chamber at a front end of the syringe body and a piston tube at a rear end of the syringe body. The diluent chamber can be partially filled with a diluent fluid. A moveable piston can be slidably engaged in the piston tube and form a fluid-tight seal with an interior surface of the piston tube. The moveable piston can include a metering groove to contain a precise volume of a biological fluid between the metering groove and the interior surface of the piston tube. A biological fluid inlet on the piston tube can be capable of delivering the biological fluid to the metering groove. The moveable piston can be slidable toward to diluent chamber to introduce the biological fluid in the metering groove into the diluent chamber.

A cassette may include a substrate and a die coupled to the substrate wherein the substrate is made of modified polyetherimide (PEI). A system for ejecting a fluid into an assay may include at least one dispense head, the at least one dispense head including a substrate and a die coupled to the substrate wherein the substrate is made of modified polyetherimide (PEI).

A fluid ejection device may include a blank cassette that includes a substrate, a die coupled to the substrate, a number of assigned electrical traces formed on the substrate, and a number of unassigned electrical traces formed on the substrate. At least one wirebond may couple at least one of the unassigned electrical traces to the die thereby assigning at least one function to the fluid ejection device.

A cassette may include, in an example, a substrate, a die coupled to the substrate, and a reservoir defined in the substrate exposing a proximal side of the die to an external atmosphere wherein at least a portion of the die is proud relative to at least one surface of the substrate.

A cassette may include a substrate, a die coupled to the substrate, and an electrical interconnection pad layout formed on a first side of the substrate. The electrical interconnection pad layout may include a first row of interconnect pads including at least one interconnect pad. Each interconnect pad of the first row of interconnect pads may be electrically coupled to one of a first set of vias. The electrical interconnection pad layout may also include a second row of interconnection pads including at least one interconnect pad. Each interconnect pad of the second row of interconnect pads being electrically coupled to one of a second set of vias. The second set of vias electrically coupled to the second row of interconnect pads are offset relative to an alignment of the interconnect pads of the first and second rows.

A cassette may include a substrate, a die coupled to the substrate, a reservoir defined in a first side of the substrate exposing a proximal side of the die to an external atmosphere, and an overflow reservoir defined in the first side of the substrate and surrounding at least a portion of a perimeter of the reservoir.

In an example, a fluid ejection apparatus includes a printed circuit board including a conductor layer, a cover layer forming a surface of the printed circuit board, and a cavity. A printhead die may be embedded in a molding material in the cavity.

Cassette

A printed circuit board has a first coefficient of thermal expansion. A compound is molded about the printed circuit board. The compound has a second coefficient of thermal expansion different than the first coefficient of thermal expansion. An interface is between an edge of the printed circuit board and the compound. The interface has a third coefficient of thermal expansion between the first coefficient of thermal expansion and the second coefficient of thermal expansion.
