Systems and methods are described for securely and efficiently processing electronic content. In one embodiment, a first application running on a first computing system establishes a secure channel with a second computing system, the secure channel being secured by one or more cryptographic session keys. The first application obtains a license from the second computing system via the secure channel, the license being encrypted using at least one of the one or more cryptographic session keys, the license comprising a content decryption key, the content decryption key being further encrypted using at least one of the one or more cryptographic session keys or one or more keys derived therefrom. The first application invokes a second application to decrypt the license using at least one of the one or more cryptographic session keys, and further invokes the second application to decrypt the content decryption key using at least one of the one or more cryptographic session keys or one or more keys derived therefrom, and to decrypt a piece of content using the content decryption key. The first application then provides access to the decrypted piece of content in accordance with the license.

Secure application processing systems and methods

This disclosure relates to systems and methods for enabling the use of secret digital or electronic information without exposing the sensitive information to unsecured applications. In certain embodiments, the methods may include invoking, by a client application executing in an open processing domain, a secure abstraction layer configured to interface with secret data protected by a secure processing domain. Secure operations may be securely performed on the secret data by the secure abstraction layer in the secure processing domain based on an invocation from a client application running in the open processing domain.

Secure processing systems and methods

Systems and methods are described for determining an optimal path and/or route to a destination for a vehicle. Embodiments of the systems and methods disclosed herein facilitate intelligent route planning to a desired destination by a vehicle. In certain embodiments, a path and/or route to a desired destination is determined that accounts for vehicle charging and/or refueling requirements. Disclosed systems and methods may further generate and distribute reservation information ensuring availability of vehicle charging and/or refueling stations along a selected route. Vehicle charging path optimization systems and methods

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for enabling access to a firmware-locked function of a secure device. A secure device may be production hardware that has locked certain functions not available for public use. In an embodiment, the secure device may receive a request to access a firmware-locked function. The request may include an authorization token that includes an identifier specific to the particular secure device and a permission identifier identifying the firmware-locked function. Based on the receipt of the authorization token, the secure device may retrieve authorization data from the firmware memory of the secure device to determine whether the provided authorization token matches the firmware authorization data. Using the authorization token, the secure device may determine whether to grant access to the firmware-locked function.

Production console authorization permissions

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for enabling access to a firmware-locked function of a secure device. A secure device may be production hardware that has locked certain functions not available for public use. In an embodiment, the secure device may receive a request to access a firmware-locked function. The request may include an authorization token that includes an identifier specific to the particular secure device. Based on the receipt of the authorization token, the secure device may retrieve authorization data from the firmware memory of the secure device to determine whether the provided authorization token matches the firmware authorization data. In an embodiment, the secure device may also utilize channel information for authentication purposes. Using the authorization token and/or channel information, the secure device may determine whether to grant access to the firmware-locked function.

Systems and methods are described for applying digital rights management techniques to tethered devices. In one embodiment, a host device is operable to translate a relatively sophisticated license into a simpler format for use on a relatively low-capability device. In another embodiment, a method of using extended SCSI commands to communicate over a USB connection is provided.
