A window sash interlock includes a housing configured to mount to a side rail of a window sash. The housing includes a front face that substantially aligns with a surface of the side rail. A locking member is pivotably coupled to the housing about a pivot axis. The locking member is disposed at least partially within the housing and is movable between at least a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking member is biased so as to automatically return to the unlocked position, and in the unlocked position, the locking member at least partially extends from the front face of the housing.

Automatic window sash interlock

A window lock system includes a sash lock and at least one tilt latch. The sash lock includes a first housing, a lever, a cam, a slide plate, and at least one actuator movable via the lever. The tilt latch includes a second housing configured to be slidably mounted on a window sash and an independent bolt slidingly coupled to the first end of the second housing. A drive bar couples the at least one actuator and the second housing together. The sash lock is movable between at least a locked position, an unlocked position, and a tilt position by rotating the lever. When the sash lock is in the tilt position, the at least one actuator retracts relative to the first housing and via the drive bar retracts the first end of the second housing of the tilt latch relative to a side surface of the window sash.

Window sash lock and tilt mechanism

A modular electronic deadbolt includes a bolt module having a first housing defining a first longitudinal axis, a motor disposed in the first housing, and a deadbolt configured to be linearly moveable in relation to the first housing along the first longitudinal axis by the motor. The modular electronic deadbolt also includes a battery module configured to be operatively coupled to the bolt module. The battery module includes a second housing configured to receive a power source, and a face plate coupled to the second housing. The faceplate defines a second longitudinal axis and includes an extension that extends along the second longitudinal axis. The extension is configured to removably couple the bolt module to the battery module such that the first longitudinal axis is substantially orthogonal to the second longitudinal axis.

Modular electronic deadbolt systems

An electronic deadbolt includes a face plate and a housing having a first end and an opposite second end. The first end is releasably coupled to the face plate, and the housing further includes a bolt compartment defining a bolt axis and a battery compartment defining a battery axis. The bolt axis is substantially parallel to and offset from the battery axis, and the bolt compartment is separated from the battery compartment proximate the second end of the housing. The electronic deadbolt further includes a bolt module disposed within the bolt compartment. The bolt module includes a motor and a deadbolt, and the deadbolt is configured to be selectively linearly extended from the face plate along the bolt axis.

Electronic deadbolt systems

An electronic keeper includes a housing defining a battery chamber and an actuator chamber. An actuator is at least partially disposed within the actuator chamber. The actuator includes a strike and a magnet, and is pivotable between a first position and a second position relative to the housing. The actuator is also biased towards the first position. The electronic keeper also includes a senor disposed within the battery chamber. When a locking element is in contact with the strike, the actuator pivots from the first position towards the second position so that the magnet moves relative to the sensor.

Sealed keeper sensors

A lock actuator assembly includes an escutcheon defining a longitudinal axis. A rotatable drive disk is rotatably coupled to the escutcheon about a rotational axis. A slide arm is slidingly coupled to the escutcheon and operably coupled to the drive disk such that movement of the slide arm along the longitudinal axis rotates the drive disk about the rotational axis. Additionally, an electronic actuator is coupled to the escutcheon. The electronic actuator is configured to drive the slide arm along the longitudinal axis, and the drive disk is adapted to couple to a lock mechanism so as to shift the lock mechanism between a locked position and an unlocked position when the drive disk rotates about the rotational axis.

Access handle for sliding doors

An apparatus has a housing with an elongate axis partially defining an interior chamber. A face plate is connected to the housing and defines a deadbolt opening. A circuit board disposed within the interior chamber has a first portion and second portion communicatively connected via a flexible ribbon. A battery holder is connected to the first portion. A sensor is connected to the second portion and is disposed proximate the deadbolt opening.

Locking system having an electronic keeper

A motor with a shaft and a shaft axis is disposed within a housing. A lead screw has an axis and is rotatably mounted in the housing. A deadbolt linearly extends from the housing based on rotation of the lead screw. A gear set with a plurality of gears, each having an axis, is disposed in the housing and operably connects the motor and the lead screw. A circuit board is disposed within the housing and has a plurality of portions communicatively connected by a ribbon. Each portion is disposed substantially orthogonal to the motor shaft axis, the lead screw axis, and the plurality of gear axes.

Locking system having an electronic deadbolt

An electronic remote lock actuator includes a face plate defining a longitudinal axis. A housing disposed adjacent to the face plate. A motor disposed in the housing, and a first drive bar configured to be linearly moveable along the longitudinal axis by the motor. The first drive bar includes a first end and an opposite second end. The first end is configured to be secured to a second drive bar of a mechanical remote lock assembly such that linear movement of the first drive bar is translated to linear movement of the second drive bar along the longitudinal axis.

Modular multi-point lock

An access system for a structure includes a control box mounted within a controlled access space of the structure and operatively coupled to a door panel operator that opens and closes a door panel of the structure for access to the controlled access space. The control box is configured to detect a presence of a security device relative to the control box, determine a position of the security device relative to the structure, and determine an authorization of the security device. The access system also includes a user interface mounted in an uncontrolled access space of the structure and coupled in communication with the control box. Upon actuation of the user interface, the control box operates the door panel operator when the security device is positioned proximate the control box, located in the uncontrolled access space of the structure, and authorized to operate the door panel.

Garage door access remote

A lock actuation assembly includes an escutcheon and a handle having a first end pivotably connected to the escutcheon at an interface. A link arm is pivotably mounted in the escutcheon and also comprises a first end. A projection is engaged with the first end of the handle and the first end of the link arm. A cam located in the escutcheon is rotatably engaged with a second end of the link arm. The cam includes a tailpiece adapted for engagement with a locking mechanism.

Handle-actuated sliding door lock actuation assemblies

A window frame has a sash and a panel that is disposed parallel to the sash, both of which are slidably disposed in the frame. A receiver is fixed at a first end of the frame. When the sash is in a first position, the sash is disposed within the receiver. When the sash is in a second position, the sash is disposed outside the receiver. A motor is fixed relative to the frame with a drive system connecting the motor to the sash or the panel. A control input is connected to the motor and is configured to receive a signal from a controller, a sensor, or a building management system.

Powered window system

A sliding door lock system has a centrally-disposed operator. The operator has a casing with a trigger retractably extended from the casing. An operator mechanism disposed in the casing is operatively engaged with the trigger. A lock remotely disposed from the operator has a housing. A pair of opposed locking hooks extend from the housing and a spring biases each hook into an unlocked position. A block pivotably connected to the housing is configured to engage the hooks when the hooks are in a locked position. An elongate member operably connects the operator mechanism to the block.

Opposed hook sliding door lock

A lock mechanism for an inactive door includes a housing configured to receive a locking element from an active door lock. A slide is movably received in the housing and includes a drive bar connection element, wherein when the slide is in an unlocked position, the drive bar connection element is located in a path of travel of the deadbolt, and wherein when the slide is in a locked position, the drive bar connection element is located outside the path of travel of the deadbolt. At least one drive bar at least partially received in the housing and is connected to the drive bar connection element. The drive bar is actuated by an actuator located remote from the housing. A blocking element located within the housing, wherein the blocking element prevents movement of the slide from the locked position to the unlocked position.
