On-Board Diagnostics (OBDs) produced by a vehicle are monitored in real time. The OBDs are evaluated in view of rules or policies to take actions with respect selective component lockdown of resources for a mobile device that is operational within the vehicle. For example, the display screen of the mobile device is blacked out and locked out when the OBDs indicate the vehicle is moving.

A security device to secure a computer may include a substantially vertical pedestal, a fixed platform mounted on the pedestal, a clamping table to cooperate with the fixed platform to secure the computer and a locking assembly to allow the clamping table to be moved to allow the computer to be attached and released from the fixed platform in an unlocked state and to prevent the clamping table from being moved to hold the computer in a locked state, The locking assembly may include a locking knob to operate the locking assembly between the locked state and the unlocked state, and the locking knob may rotate freely in the locked state and rotates to allow the clamping table to be moved in the unlocked state.

The locking arm pedestal system includes a clevis assembly pivotally attached to a plurality of pivotal arms. One of the arms is pivotally attached to a telescoping arm housed in a base, the telescoping arm setting the desired height of the clevis assembly. The base is adapted to be mounted to a vehicle console and floor. The clevis assembly includes a pivotal mounting bracket where an item can be mounted thereon at a desired angle. A pivot locking joint prevents the mounting bracket from pivoting from the desired angle. Each of the pivotal arms also includes similarly configured pivot locking joints to set the desired position of the clevis assembly with respect to the user. Fasteners clamp the locking pivot joints in place.

An archery bow holder for compound bows is formed of an upper assembly frame attached to a convex curved lower plate. The lower plate has an elongated slot for adjustment and closely fits with a base plate having a concave upper surface and passage for a bolt. The holder may be installed upon a hunter's tree stand or any other suitable surface with a bolt and cooperating nut, and arcuate adjustment for different bows or non level surfaces is provided by the mating curved surfaces of the slotted lower plate and base. The entire assembly including the base may be pivoted about the axis formed by the bolt for alignment as desired. Thus, a single bolt provides for the attachment, arcuate adjustment, and pivotal adjustment of the bow holder. At least some portions of the assembly may be covered or coated with a resilient coating or covering in order to protect a bow being held therein, and also to reduce or prevent noise if the otherwise hard surface of the bow holder were to be struck by another article.
