An example system includes a vehicle having a prime mover motively coupled to a drive line; a motor/generator selectively coupled to the drive line, and configured to selectively modulate power transfer between an electrical load and the drive line; a battery pack; a DC/DC converter electrically interposed between the motor/generator and the electrical load, and between the battery pack and the electrical load, the DC/DC converter comprising a DC/DC converter housing; and a covering tray positioned over a plurality of batteries of the battery pack, the covering tray comprising a connectivity layer configured to provide electrical connectivity to terminals of the plurality of batteries.

System and method of a mobile electrical system

A system includes a PTO device that selectively couples to a driveline of a vehicle, a motor/generator electrically coupled to an electrical power storage system, and a shared load selectively powered by one of the driveline or the motor/generator. The PTO device further includes a coupling actuator that couples the shared load to the motor/generator at a first selected ratio in a first position, and couples the shared load to the driveline at a second selected ratio in a second position.

A circuit, system, and method for a multi-phase bidirectional DC/DC power converter includes a plurality of single phase DC/DC power converter circuits coupled in electrical parallel. A converter controller includes a compensator and a saturation limit function module. The compensator is configured to generate a control signal based on a current command signal and an actual current signal. The saturation limit function module is configured to determine a saturation limit for the compensator while the compensator is in a disabled state. The converter controller is configured to disable one or more of the plurality of power converter circuits, match the saturation limit values of the compensator to current operating values when one or more of the plurality of single phase DC/DC power converter circuits is disabled, and re-enable the one or more of the plurality of power converter circuits using the matched saturation limit values to limit transient current stress as any disabled phases and compensators are re-enabled.

Multi-phase bidirectional DC to DC power converter circuits, systems and methods with transient stress control

A local power converter may include a controller to manipulate the operating point of a local power converter to cause the power point tracking feature of a central power converter to operate at a point determined by the controller. In some embodiments, the controller can manipulate the operating point of the local power converter by alternating between at least two modes. In some other embodiments, the controller can manipulate the operating point of the local power converter to provide a substantially constant slope. In some other embodiments, the controller can maintain a substantially constant impedance ratio. In some other embodiments, the controller enables perturbations from the power point tracking feature of the central power converter to reach the power source.

Power point tracking

A method for converting power from a photovoltaic (PV) panel having substrings of PV cells, the method includes converting power from a first substring of the PV panel to generate a first DC output having a fixed portion and a variable portion, converting power from a second substring of the PV panel to generate a second DC output having a fixed portion and a variable portion, and combining the first and second DC outputs to generate a combined DC output. A power converter may include an open-loop switching stage to receive DC power, a transformer having a primary winding coupled to the open-loop switching stage, and first and second secondary windings, a first rectifier bridge coupled to the first secondary winding, a second rectifier bridge coupled to the second secondary winding, and a regulator coupled to the second rectifier bridge.

Multi-path converters for PV substrings

A power conversion system may include a first power converter to transfer power from a power source to a load, an energy storage element coupled in series between the first power converter and the load, and a second power converter to transfer energy between the energy storage element and the load. The system may be configured to provide a sinusoidal output suitable for grid-tie applications while maintaining constant input power.

Power converter with series energy storage

A power converter may include a first power path having no energy storage and a second power path having substantial energy storage. The first and second power paths have first and second input waveforms that are complementary with respect to a source waveform. The first power path, which may be more efficient than the second path, may transfer as much power as possible from the input to the output. The energy storage enables the second power path to make up the difference between the power available from the source and the power drawn by the first power path, and to make up the difference between the power demanded by a load and the power supplied by the first path.

A satellite tracking system for tracking a synchronous satellite includes a satellite antenna system movably supported on a roof of a vehicle via a roof frame to move between an operation position and a folded position. At the operation position, the satellite antenna system is rotated on the roof frame to adjust a horizontal orientation of a parabolic reflector of the satellite antenna system while the parabolic reflector is pivotally lift at a predetermined inclination angle to align with the satellite. At the folded position, the parabolic reflector is pivotally dropped down until the parabolic reflector faces downwardly to the roof of the vehicle to conceal a signal transmitting device of the satellite antenna system between the parabolic reflector and the roof of the vehicle. Therefore, the satellite antenna system provides a relatively low profile at the folded position when the vehicle travels.

The present disclosure relates to a multi faceted event table having the capability of achieving a variety of different and highly useful configurations, either in combination with one or more like tables, or standing alone, to thereby provide a single table usable in a wide variety of events, while at the same time being light weight and easily handled both in set up and break down with greatly reduced storage space compactness.

Event tables

A spot thermal conditioning apparatus selectively operable in warming and cooling modes includes a housing containing three blowers or fans. One of the blowers receives warm ceiling air and projects an exiting stream of the ceiling air to a conditioning compartment within the housing. A fan receives the exiting ceiling air blower stream and concurrently draws a stream of cool floor air into the compartment. The mixed air is then expelled by the fan through a louver to provide directional control of the movement of the conditioned air mass and circulation of air to an open spot work area. An additional fan or blower is provided for circulating warm ceiling air through the housing and returning it back toward the ceiling separately from the flow of warm ceiling air moved by the other blower. The apparatus also includes a closed, heat exchange system and an air flow direction control plate. Additionally, an electronic speed control circuit is provided to allow completely independent operation of each blower and fan.

Spot thermal or environmental conditioner

A spot thermal conditioning apparatus selectively operable in warming and cooling modes includes a housing containing a suction blower and a fan with radial blades. The suction blower receives ceiling air and projects an exiting stream of the ceiling air along one leg of an acute angle to an intersection. The fan is located substantially at the intersection and not only receives the exiting blower stream but also concurrently draws a stream of floor air substantially along the other leg of the angle to the intersection. The mixed air is then expelled through a louver to provide directional control of the movement of the conditioned air mass and circulation of air to an open spot work area. The suction blower and fan also each include an electronic speed control circuit so as to allow completely independent operation.
