Compositions are disclosed which include between about 0.05 to about 5 or less wt. % of at least one acrylate monomer based on the total weight of the composition. The acrylate monomer reduces the peak cure temperature, thereby accelerating the rate of cure, without sacrificing completeness of the cure or the release performance of the cured product. The addition of the acrylate monomer also enables a reduction in the amount of costly platinum catalyst required to effectively cure a composition. In addition to the acrylate monomer, the compositions also include a silicone base polymer, a crosslinking agent, and platinum catalyst. The cured compositions exhibit properties useful for incorporation into release liners, adhesive articles, medical products and gaskets.

The present invention provides multilayer absorbent laminates useful for absorbing undesired liquids released from packaged food products during storage, display, or heating, including microwave cooking. In one aspect, the present invention provides a multilayer absorbent laminate comprising a first layer comprising an absorbent material, a second layer comprising a polymeric bonding material, a third layer comprising a polymeric support film layer, and a fourth layer comprising an adhesive.

The present invention is directed to an adhesive composition comprising a crosslinkable acrylic copolymer, a multi-functionalized crosslinkable oligomer and a photoinitiator wherein the partially cured composition exhibits excellent wet out characteristics as reflected in a tan delta value of at least 0.4, preferably greater than 0.5, more preferable greater than 0.6 as measured at 20&#xb0; C. resulting from a first curing stage, and the fully cured composition exhibits an improved stiffness and temperature resistance as reflected in a storage elastic modulus of at least 175,000 Pa at 20&#xb0; C. and a shear adhesion failure temperature of at least 425&#xb0; F. (218.3&#xb0; C.) at 1 Kg/in(0.155 Kg/cm), respectively, which result from a second sequential curing stage.

Adhesive compositions for easy application and improved durability

(218.3&#xb0; C.) at 1 Kg/in(0.155 Kg/cm), respectively, which result from a second sequential curing stage.

The present invention is directed to pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions and pressure-sensitive adhesive constructions fabricated using the pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions. The pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions comprise about 10 to about 40% of a styrene-isoprene block copolymer, about 5 to about 30% of a styrene-butadiene block copolymer, about 30 to about 65% of an aromatically modified tackifying resin, about 8 to about 30% of a plasticizing oil and optionally about 0.2 to about 2% of an antioxidant, wherein the percentages are based on the total weight of the composition.
