Disclosed are gaming systems, methods and machines for a gaming cabinet configuration. In particular, the gaming systems, methods and machines may incorporate gaming cabinets that include one or more curved or arcuate screens, one or more candles integrated into one or more lighting features arranged on one or more edges of the gaming cabinet, the one or more candles and the one or more lighting features connected to a game controller via one or more interfaces, and/or one or more diffuse lighting elements to provide lighting features or effects.

An electronic gaming machine (EGM) includes a cabinet, a wireless transmitter, a memory device storing a unique device identifier (ID) of the EGM, and a game controller. The game controller is configured to execute a first node of a blockchain network on the EGM and store a first copy of the blockchain on a first memory partition, execute a second node of the blockchain network on the EGM and store a second copy of the blockchain on a second memory partition, generate a metering event associated with game play, submit a first blockchain transaction to the blockchain network, causing the first blockchain transaction to be added to a new block on the blockchain, and locally determine consensus for the new block on the blockchain between the first node and the second node of the EGM.

A blockchain system for facilitating preparation and installation of electronic gaming devices using a blockchain network is provided. The blockchain system includes an electronic gaming machine (EGM). The EGM includes a memory, a network interface, and at least one processor. The processor is configured to execute the operating system and the blockchain client, initiate a software installation on the EGM of a software component after the EGM has been delivered to an operational venue, including transmitting a software request transaction into the blockchain network for addition to the blockchain, identify a software permission blockchain transaction from the blockchain authorizing the installation of the software component on the EGM, download the software component from a cloud server of a regulated cloud storing certified software images of software components for EGMs in the blockchain network, and install the software component on the EGM.

The display assembly may be releasably coupled to the game cabinet so that the display assembly may be quickly removed prior to replacement and/or maintenance operations. The display assembly may include a display panel and the display panel may be separated into multiple display regions. Each display region may be presented at an offset angle with respect to a proximate display region so as to display information to a player of the gaming device at different angles. The display assembly may additionally be provided with an electrical connector and/or an attachment mechanism to releasably couple the display assembly to the game cabinet.

The display assembly may additionally be provided with an electrical connector and/or an attachment mechanism to releasably couple the display assembly to the game cabinet.
