Certain example embodiments relate to trade surveillance and monitoring systems and/or methods that take into account both subjective physical trader emotional attributes, and objective activity measures (e.g., trading activity, financial market activity, etc.). Detect scenarios (which may be thought of as logical sequences that define types or patterns used in detecting unwanted incidents) and context scenarios (which may be thought of as logical sequences that help provide additional context in the investigation stage of an incident) may be defined to take into account such information and be used in these and/or regards.

Trade surveillance and monitoring systems and/or methods

Certain example embodiments relate to large venue surveillance and reaction systems and/or methods that take into account both subjective emotional attributes of persons having relations to the large venues, and objective measures such as, for example, actual or expected wait times, current staffing levels, numbers of customers to be serviced, etc. Pre-programmed scenarios are run in real-time as events stream in over one or more electronic interfaces, with each scenario being implemented as a logic sequence that takes into account at least an aspect of a representation of an inferred emotional state. The scenarios are run to (a) determine whether an incident might be occurring and/or might have occurred, and/or (b) dynamically determine a responsive action to be taken. A complex event processing engine may be used in this regard. The analysis may be used in certain example embodiments to help improve customer satisfaction at the large venue.

Large venue surveillance and reaction systems and methods using dynamically analyzed emotional input

Certain example embodiments relate to a dynamically adaptable real-time customer experience manager and/or associated method. Electronic messages are received from different source systems. Each message has an associated message type. Metadata is dynamically and programmatically developed for each received message based on an extensible set of scoring scenarios. The metadata includes at least one metric that is comparable across messages of different types for assessing relative priorities. A determination is made as to where in a queue of pending messages each received message is to be inserted, based on the metadata. A complex event processing query is executed on the queue to dynamically identify a pending message therein that is to be delivered. The identified pending message is subjected to pre-programmed distribution scenarios to identify which possible communication channel(s) that identified pending message is to be sent. The identified pending message is forwarded to the identified communication channel(s) for sending.

Dynamically adaptable real-time customer experience manager and/or associated method

A method and system is disclosed for providing continued of streaming content to a mobile device in a distributed wireless network. This includes receiving user location data; receiving user movement history data; receiving user profile data; determining a predicted coverage area based on the user location data and at least one of: the user movement history data and the user profile data; receiving static coverage data for the predicted coverage area; receiving dynamic signal data for the predicted coverage area; determining a predicted probability of network failure in the predicted coverage area based on the static coverage data and the dynamic signal data; determining if the predicted probability exceeds a set threshold value; retrieving desirable data for the predicted coverage area if the predicted probability exceeds a threshold; and storing the desirable data in a computer memory in the mobile device if the predicted probability exceeds the threshold.

System and method for dynamically providing real-time service for a mobile wireless device

A system and method for configuring an event-based process are disclosed. A configuration module receives input describing an event-based process or modifications to an event-based process. For example, the configuration module receives as input a graphical depiction of one or more states and state transitions that comprise at least a portion of the event-based process. Using the received input description, the configuration module generates executable data, such as data formatted as an event processing language, corresponding to the input. The executable data is then communicated to an event engine which executes the executable data to implement the event-based process or modifications to an event-based process corresponding to the received input. One or more aspects of the execution of the event-based process may also be visualized, and graphically modified, though an event monitoring module.

Event-based process configuration

A system and method for constructing and deploying a business activity monitoring (BAM) dashboard associated with an event-based process are disclosed. A configuration module receives an event-based process identifier for an event-based process and data, such as inputs or outputs, for the event-based process. A generation module then generates a dashboard description that includes the identifier and an associated dashboard template having one or more dashboard components. This dashboard description is used by a dashboard server to automatically generate a BAM dashboard for monitoring the event-based process by using the association between the dashboard template and the event-based process to display data associated with the event-based process using one or more dashboard components.
