A wellbore motor includes a source of rotational motive power disposed in a wellbore, a magnetic gear member operatively coupled at an input thereof to the source; and a magnetic gear member output coupled rotationally to a rotary wellbore tool.

A wellbore motor includes a means for converting flow of fluid in the wellbore into rotational energy. A magnetic gear member is operatively coupled at an input thereof to the means for converting. A wellbore rotary tool is coupled to an output of the magnetic gear member.

A method for constructing a permanent magnet assembly by using a non-magnetic frame between individual magnet segments to restrain the movement of the magnet segments. The frame restricts the movement of the magnets during assembly. The frame also provides an effective system for replacing magnets in the existing assembly.

A number of magnets are arranged in a plane and is placed close to the container. The magnetic poles of the magnets are arranged in a pattern to apply magnetic fields oriented perpendicular to the plane on the container. The pole pattern provides in consistent separation across the container of the number of magnetically susceptible particles from the rest of the particles.
