An injection device () for administering a fixed dose of a medication is provided. The injection device () comprises a housing () wherein a drive mechanism comprising a drive member () is at least partially enclosed and a dosing element () which is fixed relative to the drive member (). Here, a dose can be set by rotating the dosing element () relative to the housing () in a dose set direction () and the dose can be dispensed by pushing the dosing element () towards the housing (). Moreover, a method is provided for operating an injection device () for the administration of a fixed dose of a medication: A dose can be set by rotating a dosing element (), a dose can be dispensed by pushing the dosing element () towards the housing () and a dose can be cancelled by rotating the dosing element () in a direction () opposite to the dose set direction ().

Injection device

A drive member for driving a piston rod in a drug delivery device is provided. The drive member is configured to be driven in a rotational movement by an actuating member. The drive member comprises a track for transmitting a driving load from the actuating member to the drive member. The track comprises both sections running in a distal and sections running in a proximal direction of the drive member. Moreover, a drug delivery device comprising such a drive member is provided.

Resettable drug delivery device

The invention relates to a closure assembly () for a container () and a container thereof. The invention more particularly relates to a closure assembly which provides leak tight closure for liquid or viscous products and can be simply opened or closed with minimal effort and additionally can be inverted to stably rest on a horizontal surface to act as a tottle.

A medicated module () for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts a medicated module () containing a single dose of a secondary medicament and where both medicaments are delivered through a hollow needle (). The medicated module () does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir () containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a biasing member () automatically activates the reservoir () when the needle guard () is retracted. The needle guard () prevents accidental needle sticks before and after an injection, and locks after dose delivery.

Sprayhead for a spray device

The instant application is directed to an assembly for a drug delivery device which is arranged to operate in two distinct modes, a priming mode starting from a pre-priming state and a dispense mode operating in a post-priming state, and a drug delivery device comprising this assembly. The assembly comprises a dose member, an actuating member and a piston rod which is configured to act on a bung of an assembled cartridge containing the drug. In the pre-priming state the actuating member is configured to be moved by a user such that the movement of the actuating member causes a movement of the dose member and such that the movement of the dose member causes a movement of the piston rod. In the post-priming state the dose member is configured to be moved by a user without causing a movement of the actuating member in order to perform a set and dispense action of the drug delivery device.

A sprayhead for use with an aerosol container, the sprayhead including: a chassis; a rotatable circular collar; and a spray channel and associated actuator button, the spray channel passing through a central aperture in a bridge spanning a diameter of the collar, and being connectable to the aerosol container; the chassis including an annular skirt that, on a lower internal surface thereof, an annular valve cup securing bead that, when the sprayhead is attached to an aerosol container, grips the container such that the torque required to turn the chassis around the container is at least twice that required to turn the rotatable circular collar around the chassis.

For delivering a dose of a drug (), the piston rod assembly () is axially displaceable in a dose delivery direction away from an axial starting position, the interaction member () cooperating with the delivery section (A) and the blocking means () passing the interaction member () when the piston rod assembly () is displaced in the dose delivery direction. Axial displacement of the piston rod assembly () towards the axial starting position is prevented by mechanical interaction of the blocking means () and the interaction member () when the interaction member () cooperates with the delivery section (A). For resetting the drug delivery device (), the interaction member () is configured to cooperate with the reset section (B), the piston rod assembly () being axially displaced towards the axial starting position, the blocking means () being offset from the interaction member () and passing the axial position of the interaction member () when the piston rod assembly () is axially displaced towards the axial starting position. Also, a piston rod assembly () is proposed.

Resettable drive mechanism for a drug delivery device with guide track and blocking means

A plunger () having engaging means and a lever () are arranged in a body (). The lever has a first pivot that is stationary with respect to the body in the direction of an axis, a second pivot, and a third pivot formed by an engaging element of the lever. The pivots are arranged in such a manner that a rotation of the lever with respect to the first pivot moves the second pivot and the third pivot in the same direction with respect to the axis. The engaging element and the engaging means are shaped such that the lever is disengaged from the plunger when the second pivot is moved relatively to the plunger in the proximal direction (), and the plunger is engaged with the lever when the second pivot is moved in the distal direction ().

When the module contains a single dose of a secondary medicament, both the primary and secondary medicaments are delivered through a single dispense interface, preferably a hollow needle. The module assembly does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a trigger automatically activates movement of a lower hub when the needle guard is retracted.
