An electronic device includes a display, a first housing, a second housing and a hinge assembly configured to connect the first housing and the second housing, and having a pair of hinge axes. The hinge assembly includes a hinge bracket including an intermediate protrusion formed to protrude in a direction of a middle axis perpendicular to the pair of hinge axes, a pair of hinge structures connected to the hinge bracket to be rotatable about the pair of hinge axes, and an intermediate member including a through-hole into which the intermediate protrusion is inserted, to be rotatable about the middle axis with respect to the hinge bracket. The intermediate protrusion also includes a protrusion base having a first radius, and a head including a projection which is formed on the protrusion base and which has a second radius greater than the first radius.

Electronic device with hinge assembly

An electronic device according to an embodiment includes a first housing, a second housing coupled to the first housing so as to be slidable with respect to the first housing, a display including a planar region and a deformable region in contact with the planar region, and a support plate configured to supporting the display. The support plate includes rigid regions and a flexible region disposed between the rigid regions and including a plurality of openings. The support plate further includes a first layer including a plurality of first openings in the flexible region, and a second layer disposed on the first layer and including a plurality of second openings partially overlapping each of the plurality of first openings in the flexible region. Other embodiments are also possible.

Electronic device including structure for supporting display

An electronic device comprises housings including a first housing and a second housing configured to accommodate at least a portion of the first housing and guide sliding of the first housing, a flexible display including a first display area and a second display area extending from the first display area, and a monolithic support structure configured to support at least a portion of the second display area. The support structure includes a plate part and a plurality of bar-shaped parts protruding side by side from the plate part and disposed parallel to the plate part. The plate part and the plurality of bar-shaped parts are formed from a single monolithic structure. Each of the plurality of bar-shaped parts includes a second portion extending from the plate part and a first portion extending from the second portion, and a first width of the first portion is greater than a second width of the second portion. The plate part includes a plurality of openings located between adjacent ones of the bar-shaped parts.

Electronic device including support structure

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device may comprise a first housing, a second housing, a hinge structure, and/or a flexible display. The hinge structure may be rotatably connect the second housing to the first housing. The flexible display may be at least partially bendable in response to the rotation of the second housing relative to the first housing. The hinge structure may include at least one rotating member, at least one detent member, and/or at least one pin member. The rotating member may include a first detent member coupled to the first housing and rotatable about a first rotational axis and/or a second detent member coupled to the second housing and rotatable about a second rotational axis parallel to the first rotational axis. The detent member may include a first detent member disposed in the first rotating member and including a first detent slot and/or a second detent member disposed in the second rotating member and including a second detent slot. The pin member may include a first pin member slidably connected to the first detent slot and/or a second pin member slidably connected to the second detent slot. The first detent member may be configured to provide an elastic force to the first pin member. The second detent member may be configured to provide an elastic force to the second pin member.
