A load balancing system includes a load balancer and at least one service node, a virtual switch and at least one backend server run on the service node, and an Internet Protocol (IP) address of a logical interface of the backend server is an IP address of the load balancer, the load balancer receives an access request from a client, and changes a destination address of the access request to an IP address of a virtual network interface card of a destination backend server, and a virtual switch on a service node changes the destination address of the access request to the IP address of the load balancer when receiving the access request such that when the destination backend server returns an access response, a source address of the access response includes the address of the load balancer.

Load balancing method, apparatus, and system

A distributed load balancing system includes a cloud management platform, an access node, and at least one service node, where the access node and the at least one service node are physical servers, a first virtual load balancer runs on the access node, and at least one backend server runs on the service node. A detection message is sent by using a detection module on a target service node to detect a status of a target backend server, and the status of the target backend server is shared to a first virtual load balancer by using the detection module. Therefore, not only a quantity of detection messages in the load balancing system is reduced, but also signaling load on the access node is reduced.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a clock synchronization method and device. The method includes: receiving, a preconfigured multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) capability parameter and a traffic engineering (TE) capability parameter, and establishing, based on the MPLS capability parameter and the TE capability parameter, an MPLS tunnel interface; establishing, an MPLS TE tunnel whose bidirectional paths are consistent between the first clock synchronization device and a second clock synchronization device; and performing, clock synchronization message interaction with the second clock synchronization device through the established MPLS TE tunnel. In the embodiments of the present invention, by establishing the MPLS TE tunnel whose bidirectional paths are consistent between the first clock synchronization device and the second clock synchronization device which perform clock synchronization message interaction, symmetry of clock synchronization message interaction paths is ensured, and therefore, a time error in clock synchronization resulting from asymmetry of the paths is avoided.
