A holographic display device and a display method thereof. The holographic display device comprises a backlight module and two liquid crystal modules. The backlight module is used for providing coherent light; the two liquid crystal modules are located on the light exit side of the backlight module, and the two liquid crystal modules are stacked; one of the two liquid crystal modules is used for performing amplitude modulation on incident light, and the other one is used for performing phase modulation on incident light. In this way, the complex amplitude of exit light is adjusted, and the quality of a reconstructed image is improved.

Holographic display device and display method thereof

A liquid crystal spatial light modulator and a three-dimensional display device are provided. The liquid crystal spatial light modulator includes a base substrate and a plurality of pixel units arranged in an array. Each pixel unit includes one pixel electrode, and the pixel electrode is located on the base substrate. Each pixel unit includes a light shielding structure, and the light shielding structure is configured to divide the each pixel unit into a plurality of pixel regions.

Liquid crystal spatial light modulator and three-dimensional display device

A transparent display panel has a plurality of sub-pixel regions, which are divided into at least two display unit groups. The transparent display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate assembled with each other, and a light exit control layer disposed therebetween. The first substrate includes a first base and a dimming component disposed on a side of the first base. The dimming component includes a plurality of dimming lenses. Each dimming lens is configured to transmit exit light of one sub-pixel region to human eyes and focus the exit light on a corresponding focal plane. The plurality of dimming lenses are configured to focus exit light of the at least two display unit groups on different focal planes. The focal planes are located at a side of the transparent display panel away from the human eyes.

The display device includes a microlens array including a plurality of microlenses; and a display panel including a plurality of pixel islands, wherein the plurality of pixel islands are arranged in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of microlenses, each pixel island includes a plurality of sub-pixels, light emitted by the plurality of sub-pixels of each pixel island enters a human eye through a microlens corresponding to the each pixel island and forms an image in the human eye, and regions where images formed by at least two pixel islands in the plurality of pixel islands via microlenses corresponding to the at least two pixel islands are located are connected.

Display device and display method thereof

Provided is a near-eye display device including: a base substrate including first and second surfaces opposite to each other, an optical element array on the first surface, and a pixel island array and a sensor array that are on the second surface and are coupled to each other. The pixel island array emits first pixel light to the optical element array, such that the first pixel light passes through the optical element array and then reaches a human eye. The sensor array receives light of the first pixel light reflected by the human eye, determines a position of a pupil center of the human eye according to an intensity distribution of the reflected light, determines pixels corresponding to the position of the pupil center in the pixel island array, and controls the pixels to emit second pixel light.

A display panel, a display device and a display method. The display panel includes a first microlens array, a pixel island array and a second lens. The pixel island array is configured to display a plurality of sub-original images. The first microlens array is configured to converge light emitted from the plurality of sub-original images so as to obtain imaging light, and the imaging light is capable of forming a first virtual image. The second lens is on a user viewing side of the display panel relative to the first microlens array, and the second lens is configured to converge the imaging light so as to obtain a second virtual image. The first virtual image is a virtual image in which the plurality of sub-original images are stitched and enlarged, and the second virtual image is an enlarged virtual image of the first virtual image.

An augmented reality display device and a pair of augmented reality glasses are provided. The augmented reality display device includes a substrate, an imaging element and a first optical element. The substrate includes a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The imaging element is configured to display a primary virtual image formed by virtual image light. The first optical element is configured to receive the virtual image light, orient the virtual image light to magnify the primary virtual image into a secondary virtual image, and make the virtual image light exit from the first optical element in a direction from the second side to the first side.
