This application provides a positioning method, a network side device, a positioning node, and a positioning system, where the method includes: receiving, by a network side device, a positioning request, where the positioning request is used to trigger positioning for UE; sending configuration information to N positioning nodes according to the positioning request, receiving, by the N positioning nodes according to the configuration information, the uplink positioning reference signal sent by the UE, and obtaining N measurement results according to the uplink positioning reference signal; sending, by M positioning nodes of the N positioning nodes, M measurement results corresponding to the M positioning nodes to the network side device; and determining, by the network side device, a position of UE according to the M measurement results.

Disclosed is a method for transmitting control information in a media access control-enhanced packet data unit (MAC-e PDU), including determining a data size of a transport format combination (TFC) selected by a user equipment (UE), including control information into the MAC-e PDU when a size of data and a header for the MAC-e PDU is shorter than the data size of the TFC, padding data of the MAC-e PDU with padding bits if a size of data including a corresponding header is shorter than the data size of the TFC, including the control information into the padding bits if the length of the padding bits is suitable for the transmission of the control information, and sending, by the UE, the MAC-e PDU including the control information to a node B.

Method for transmitting short language signaling in MAC-e PDU

A method for transmitting a short signaling in a Media Access Control-e Packet Data Unit (MAC-e PDU) includes sending control information bits incorporated with padding bits of the MAC-e PDU considering the padding bits from a User Equipment (UE) to a Node B, and sending a scheduling signaling from a service Node B to the UE according to the control information bits. Scheduling request information is transmitted with the existing padding bits. If every Transmission Time Interval (TTI) has padding bits, the UE may send the scheduling request signaling to Node B in every TTI. Therefore, the reference is provided for the Node B, and no extra load is caused to the system.

Method for transmitting short signaling in Mac-E PDU

The method for supporting pilot boost to the uplink dedicated channels in the WCDMA system comprising steps of: transmitting E-TFCI to a Node B by a UE; adjusting an uplink pilot power boosting amplitude by the UE according to the E-TFCI; and performing a uplink inner loop power control by the Node B according to a measured SIR, a target preset by the inner loop power control and a pilot boost amplitude resulted from the E-TFCI. The object of supporting pilot boost is achieved by transmitting E-TFCI in advance by the UE, adjusting the power of pilot according to the E-TFCI properly, and considering the pilot power boosting amplitude when the Node B performs inner loop power control in the invention. Thus, the object of improving the capacity of the wireless communication system can be accomplished through supporting the pilot boost in the invention.

A method for the terminal-to-terminal direct communication in the TDMA mobile communication system includes the following steps when making use of the uplink timeslots of the normal communication: in the initial phase, a sender still transmits a signal to a receiver according to its transmission timing for the normal communication; the receiver detects signals of its surrounding terminals that are in normal communication, and selects one with the strongest power as the strongest interference signal; the receiver detects the signal from the sender and compares the arrival time of the sender's signal with that of the strongest interference signal, and thereby obtains an adjustment control instruction for the sender, and feedback the control instruction to the sender; the sender adjusts its transmission timing according to the control instruction that it receives. This invention solves the synchronization problem of the direct communication in the TDD mobile communication system.
