In a method for communication, a first terminal device incapable of using a satellite positioning system receives, from a second terminal device capable of using the satellite positioning system, a first message indicating a first time point of the satellite positioning system when the first message is transmitted. The first terminal device transmits, to the second terminal device, a responsive message to the first message after a predefined delay from receiving the first message. The first terminal device receives, from the second terminal device, a second message indicating a reference time point of the satellite positioning system when the second message is received by the first terminal device. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal device incapable of using a satellite positioning system can determine its accurate location and report the location to a network device, so as to optimize the mobility management of the terminal device.

The configuration indicates an allocation of a first number of PDCCH candidates to the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs. The first number of PDCCH candidates is less than a second number of PDCCH candidates preconfigured for a slot-based CORESET. The configuration is transmitted to a terminal device served by the network device. Downlink control information (DCI) is transmitted based on the configuration to the terminal device in the plurality of symbol-based CORESETs.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for transmitting and receiving control information in a communication system. In a method for communication, a terminal device can determine that first control information is to be transmitted to a network device in a second slot after a first slot, the first control information being at least a part of previous control information transmitted in the first slot. The terminal device may determine a set of resources for second control information to be transmitted to the network device in the second slot. The terminal device may transmit, to the network device, at least one of the first control information and the second control information based on the set of resources. Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to resource allocation for feedback in groupcast communication. A method comprises identifying a plurality of destination devices for reception of data from a source device in groupcast communication; in response to the number of the plurality of destination devices being below a threshold, allocating resources to the plurality of destination devices to enable feedback transmission associated with the reception by the plurality of destination devices; and in response to the number of the plurality of destination devices exceeding the threshold, disabling feedback transmission associated with the reception by the plurality of destination devices. The terminal device may transmit, to the network device in the second slot, a set of feedback indications for the set of slots. Embodiments of the present disclosure can optimize and improve the reporting of feedback information by the terminal device to the network device in the communication system.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, devices and computer readable storage media for resource selection in a Vehicle to Everything (V2X) communication. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a resource reservation period for at least one sidelink transmission; and in accordance with a determination, based on the resource reservation period, that a reference resource associated with the at least one sidelink transmission is subsequent to a sensing window, determining, from a resource selection window of the terminal device, at least one further reference resource to be reserved for the at least one sidelink transmission based on the resource reservation period. In this way, the conflict of resource selection can be avoided and therefore the performance of the sidelink transmission can be improved.

A method for communication comprises determining one or more RS ports for RS transmission, the one or more RS ports being included in one or more RS groups. The method further comprises determining a plurality of parameters for generating a RS sequence specific to a RS group in the one or more RS groups, the RS group including at least one of the one or more RS ports. The method further comprises generating the RS sequence based on the plurality of parameters. In addition, the method further comprises transmitting the generated RS sequence over the at least one of the one or more RS ports. The embodiments of the present disclosure can solve the PAPR issue caused by mapping a same RS sequence to antenna ports across RS port groups.

The method comprises determining at least one transmission configuration indication (TCI) state to be configured to a terminal device, the at least one TCI state indicating a plurality of reference signal (RS) sets and quasi co-location relationship between the plurality of RS sets and respective groups of DMRS ports. The method further comprises determining DMRS ports for transmitting DMRSs to the terminal device via the plurality of TRPs and associations between the plurality of RS sets and the DMRS ports. In addition, the method further comprises configuring the at least one TCI state, the DMRS ports, and the associations between the plurality of RS sets and the DMRS ports to the terminal device. In this way, multi-TRP transmission can be supported without introducing additional indication overhead.

A method comprises transmitting, from a network device to a terminal device, downlink control information (DCI) over a first set of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) candidates for scheduling a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH), where the DCI includes at least one of a counter downlink assignment indicator (DAI) value and a total DAI value; transmitting the PDSCH from the network device to the terminal device; and receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook for the PDSCH from the terminal device, where the HARQ-ACK codebook is generated at least based on a first configuration of a second set of PDCCH candidates, and at least one of the counter DAI value and the total DAI value. As such, the dynamic HARQ-ACK codebook can be obtained without introducing additional signaling overhead.
