Provided are a method, system, and computer program product in which a cross virtual private cloud (VPC) network connectivity is configured, wherein one or more policies have been defined by entities in the VPC. Policy changes are monitored, and based on the one or more policies, an adding of endpoints or topology information from a source VPC to a target VPC is performed, in response to a policy definition allowing the adding of the endpoints. Operations are performed for removing external endpoints or topology information from an affected VPC, in response to receiving a denial indication.

A method for transmitting web-conference content over a network connection is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method conducts a web conference over a network connection. The method monitors characteristics of the network connection in order to determine bandwidth of the network connection during the web conference. The method implements, on the network connection, a 'raw' mode wherein audio data of the web conference is transmitted over the network connection in an original format. Upon detecting a low bandwidth condition on the network connection, the method toggles from the “raw” mode to a “saving” mode where audio data of the web conference is converted to text at a first end of the network connection, transmitted over the network connection as text, and converted from text back to audio data at a second end of the network connection. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Network bandwidth determination for adaptive web-conference rendering and transmission

A computer-implemented method, according to one approach, includes: determining whether a destination for a domain name system (DNS) query corresponds to an existing source network address translation (SNAT) port in response to receiving the DNS query. In response to determining that the destination for the DNS query corresponds to an existing SNAT port, the DNS query is modified to incorporate the existing SNAT port. A map entry corresponding to the existing SNAT port is also updated, and the modified DNS query is satisfied. Other systems, methods, and computer program products are described in additional approaches.

Using a source network address translation (SNAT) port to facilitate multiple queries

A serverless computing-based, continuous gateway watch of a data store for data change process is provided. The process includes the gateway interface of the computing environment receiving a watch request from a user system to monitor the data store for data change. Based on receiving the watch request, the gateway interface invokes a serverless setup service to establish a connection between the gateway interface and the data store of the computing environment to be monitored for data change. Based on receiving, at the gateway interface, a data change indication from the data store, the gateway interface invokes a serverless message process service to mutate the data change indication from the data store into a mutated data change message indicative of a data change at the data store for return to the user system pursuant to the watch request, with the serverless message process service terminating thereafter.

A computer implemented method, apparatus, system, and computer program product manages updates to images. A computer system determines shared layers present between the images selected for update management. The images comprise executable code that are run to create containers. The computer system detects a change in a shared layer in the shared layers for an image in the images. The computer system updates the shared layer in the shared layers in a set of the images having the shared layer in response to detecting the change to the shared layer for the image. According to other illustrative embodiments, a computer system and a computer program product for managing updates to images are provided.

An embodiment detects, by a packet detection module on a first worker node, a first synchronization message (SYN) issued from a client pod on the first worker node and directed to a first server pod on a second worker node and generates a first SYN record in a connection table stored on the first worker node. The embodiment detects, by the packet detection module, a second SYN issued from the client pod and directed to the first server pod and generates a server pod status record stored in memory on the first worker node indicative of the first server pod having an unhealthy status. The embodiment identifies an available server pod having a healthy status and generates a detour routing rule in a routing table on the first worker node indicative of a revised connection in which the identified available server pod replaces the first server pod.

The approach includes receiving a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) packet, inserting a tenant-specific option information within the DHCP packet, and transmitting the DHCP packet with the tenant-specific option information.

File system performance enhancement is provided. Information related to a container of the computer accessing a file in a layer of a file system of an image corresponding to the container is recorded to form recorded file system layer access information. The recorded file system layer access information is shared with another file system of a container image corresponding to a different container on the computer.
