A magnetic bearing includes at least one inner bearing part; at least one outer bearing part which surrounds the inner bearing part; at least one permanent magnet and at least one flux guiding element which is positioned axially in relation to a rotation axis, adjacent to the permanent magnet(s), for guiding the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet(s) to one of the two bearing parts, and at least one superconductor on the other of the two bearing parts. The permanent magnet(s) and superconductor interact with each other in such a way that a bearing gap is formed around the rotation axis between the inner bearing part and the outer bearing part. The permanent magnent(s) is/are radially set back towards the bearing gap in relation to the flux guiding element(s) in a radial direction, perpendicular to the rotation axis. Each permanent magnet is held at least one of inwards and outwards by a corresponding radial holding element, at least on the facing towards the bearing gap.

Magnetic bearing

A superconducting device comprises an inductive current limiter with an annular element produced from high-Tc superconducting material. The device is further provided with a soft-magnetic yoke leg enclosed by the material and with a transformer with primary and secondary windings and a soft-magnetic flux element with a plurality of yoke legs. The magnetic flux element is designed to contain between the primary winding and the secondary winding of the transformer the yoke leg of the current limiter, the conductor of one winding producing a switch current for the current limiter.

Superconducting device with inductive current limiter using a high-tc superconducting material

The superconductor structure for conducting an electric current in a predetermined direction has a metallic support and one or more conductor tracks. The conductor tracks have at least one electrically insulating interlayer deposited on the support and a high T superconductor layer deposited on the interlayer. Between its superconducting layer and the support, the conductor track has at least one connecting part, which extends in the current-conducting direction, for electrically connecting the superconducting layer and the support in parallel. The superconductor structure may be provided in particular for a current limiter device.
