An energy guiding chain for guiding hoses, cables or the like has numerous chain links ( ), connected to one another in articulated fashion. Each chain link has opposing straps ( ) with inside and outside lateral surfaces as well as narrow surfaces perpendicular to the lateral surfaces and essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the chain. At least some of the chain links have at least one cross-member ( ) connecting the opposing straps. The articulated joint includes joint elements ( ) which extend between adjacent straps. The joint elements are elastically deformable in the bending direction of the chain links ( ), and extend at least partially, preferably entirely, between the inside and outside lateral surfaces of the straps ( ). The joint elements ( ) can be located in laterally open recesses in the straps. In this manner, the energy guiding chain can travel to form a lower strand ( ), a deflection zone ( ) and an upper strand ( ).

Energy guiding chain

An energy drag chain is provided for guiding tubes, cables or the like between two points or connection that can be moved relative to each other. The drag chain comprises a plurality of chain members hinged to one another, each having two lateral flat links and cross members inter-linking the flat links. Such a drag chain provides a sound-damping which does not entail the deposit of dirt on the support or the guide channel, and which can be reliably installed and supplied in a pre-assembled state with a pre-manufactured system. At least in one chain section the chain members are provided with damping devices that comprise a relatively soft material and project on one side. The damping devices can be particularly configured as mushroom plugs.

Energy drag chain

An energy guiding chain for guiding hoses, cables and the like has a number of chain links connected to one another in articulated fashion which are formed by parallel straps connected by cross-members. The energy guiding chain can be moved in such a way that it forms an upper strand, a lower strand and a deflection zone connecting the two, where the upper strand rests on the lower strand. In order that the upper strand can be moved lying on the lower strand with the least possible power and low wear, and the chain is of the simplest possible design, at least some of the chain links of the upper strand and/or the lower strand are provided with rollers that can roll on running surfaces provided on the chain links of the opposite strand when the energy guiding chain travels.

A transporting device is essentially configured in the form of a cable reel and which is provided for an energy guide chain preferably equipped with cables. In order to simplify the handling and transport of the chain, the transporting device includes: a central body ( ) which is preferably cylindrical and essentially arranged around a rotational axis of the transport device; terminal limiting elements ( ) which are arranged in the vicinity of the end faces of the central body and which radially extend from the same, and divider(s) ( ) for subdividing the space located between the terminal limiting elements into at least two sections.

Transport device

Energy guiding chains serve to guide cables, hoses and the like from one connection point to another, at least one of the two connection points being movable, the energy guiding chain having a plurality of plastic chain links that are, or can be connected to one another in articulated fashion, each of which includes two side straps and two cross-members, where at least one of the cross-members is connected to the side straps in detachable fashion and a snap mechanism is provided, which interacts with a snap ridge provided on each end of the cross-member. In order to also make it possible for the snap mechanism to be easily released by hand, it is designed as an elastic hook, which is located in the center of the cross-member when the respective cross-member is mounted and protrudes beyond the outside surface of the cross-member, so that is accessible by hand. In the area in front of the hook, the outside surface of the cross-member has a grip extending from the snap ridge towards the center of the chain link.

In a guide channel structure, for instance for an energy transmission chain, designed for fastening on a substructure which, as on a crane with pivotable jib, for example, displays a stationary section and a section pivotable about a first axis of rotation ( ), a stationary structural element ( ) for fastening on the stationary section of the substructure and a movable structural element ( ) for fastening on the pivotable section of the substructure are provided, as well as an intermediate structural element ( ) located between the two structural elements ( ), which is connected to the movable structural element ( ) in a manner permitting pivoting about a second axis of rotation ( ), where the parts are coupled by a control device in such a way that, when pivoting the substructure, the movable structural element ( ) and the intermediate structural element ( ) move past each other.

Guide channel structure

The invention relates to an energy transmission chain for guiding tubes, cables or the like between two connecting points with variable vertical distance. The chain comprises links with two lateral parts that can be interconnected by means of at least one transverse pin. The adjacent links of the chain can pivot in relation to each other in an articulated manner on a plane forming a curved area. In order to provide an energy, transmission chain that can be inserted in-between the two vertically variable connecting points while preventing the energy transmission chain from sagging below the lower connecting point when its position is moved vertically upwards, the links of the chain are interspaced forming areas with opposite radii of curvature. Substantially rigid areas are provided in-between the U-bending areas of the energy transmission chain. The rigid areas can be configured in such a way that opposite lateral articulated areas of a pair of adjacent links can be U-bent in the opposite direction.

Energy transmission chain system

A cable guide is provided for guiding lines or cables in a guide channel, the guide preferably having a continuous, elongated slide strip, which can be disposed in a curved orientation to form opposite upper and lower strands and a deflection zone between them. The cable guide has a plurality of guide links that can pivot relative to one another and are preferably arranged on the side of the slide strip facing away from the opposite strand and mounted on the slide strip in detachable fashion. In order to improve a generic cable guide such that it has a longer service life and less noise emission, elements are provided, in addition to any existing slide strip, that absorb the tensile forces acting in the longitudinal direction of the cable guide when it is in essentially extended position. The tensile force-absorbing elements are preferably designed as positive locking elements, e.g., in the form of projections protruding into the pivoting plane and corresponding recesses arranged on adjacent guide links.

Cable guide

The invention relates to a cable guide ( ) for guiding cables or lines in a guide channel ( ), having a continuous, elongated sliding strip ( ), which can be arranged to form a lower strand, a deflection zone and an upper strand guided on the lower strand in sliding fashion, where one end of the cable guide can be connected to a stationary unit and the other end to a reciprocating unit. In order to design a cable guide which can be put to flexible use with regard to the cables to be guided, it is proposed that the guide channel ( ) be constructed of numerous guide links ( ) which can pivot relative to one another and which are arranged on the side of the sliding strip ( ) facing away from the opposite strand and mounted on the sliding strip ( ) in detachable fashion. In one configuration, the guide links ( ) are provided with stops ( ) to limit the pivoting angle of adjacent sections of the sliding strip ( ), also limiting the movement of the guide links ( ) perpendicular to their pivoting plane.
