A light-emitting element package includes a package body having a cavity; a first lead frame and a second lead frame disposed on the package body; a light-emitting element disposed on the bottom surface of the cavity and electrically connected to the first lead frame and the second lead frame; and a molding part surrounding the light-emitting element and disposed in at least a portion of the cavity. Each of the lead frames includes a first part corresponding to a portion of the bottom surface and side walls of the cavity; a second part corresponding to a portion of an upper surface and outer side surfaces of the package body; and a connection part disposed between the first part and the second part width of the connection part is narrower than the width of the first part and the second part in a region adjacent to the connection part.

Light-emitting element package having lead frame with connection portion

Disclosed are a light emitting device and a lighting system which uses a light emitting diode. The light emitting device includes a body which has a first and a second sidewall. The sidewalls have a first length and a corresponding third and fourth sidewalls. The third and fourth sidewalls are close to the first and second sidewalls and have a second length shorter than the first length, and a concave portion which has an open upper portion. A first lead frame is disposed in the concave portion of the body which includes a first cavity having a depth lower than a bottom of the concave portion. Also, a second lead frame is disposed in the concave portion of the body and includes a second cavity having a depth lower than the bottom of the concave portion. There is a gap part between the first and second lead frames. In the first cavity is a light emitting chip, and in the second cavity there is a light emitting chip.

Light emitting device and lighting system having the same

A light emitting device according to an embodiment includes a body including first and second side walls which correspond to each other, third and fourth side walls which have lengths longer than lengths of the first and second side walls, and a concave portion; a first lead frame under the concave portion and the third side wall; a second lead frame under the concave portion and the fourth side wall; a light emitting chip on at least one of the first and second lead frames; a molding member on the concave portion; a first recess portion recessed from the first side wall toward the second side wall and connected to a bottom of the body; and a second recess portion recessed from the second side wall toward the first side wall and connected to the bottom of the body.
