A discharge passage () of a work support includes: an annular space () created between an insertion hole (), provided through a leading end portion of a housing (), and a support rod (); and a discharge port () provided at the leading end portion of the housing (). The work support is designed so that an amount of gas pushed out of an outlet chamber () by an output member () when the output member () moves from its base-end-side limit position to its leading-end-side limit position is larger than a capacity of an accommodation chamber () created on a base end side relative to the support rod () due to movement of the support rod () from its base-end-side limit position to a leading-end-side position.

Work support

A support rod () is inserted in a housing () so as to be movable in an up-down direction. An actuation chamber () is provided in a lower end portion of the housing (). An output member () is moved upward by pressurized oil supplied to the actuation chamber (). In the actuation chamber (), to which pressurized oil is supplied, a release spring () is attached between a leading end wall () of the actuation chamber () and a flange portion () provided to a base end portion of the output member (). The release spring () biases the output member () downward.

An ascent-detecting air supply port (), a descent-detecting air supply port (), and an air discharge port () are provided to a housing (). The ascent-detecting air supply port () is communicatively connected to an air outlet () by an ascent-detecting air passage (). The descent-detecting air supply port () is communicatively connected to the air discharge port () by a descent-detecting air passage (). The descent-detecting air passage () is closed by a valve mechanism () including: a valve surface () provided on a piston portion (); and a valve seat () provided on an inner surface of the housing (), when an advance piston () is retracted to a lowered position.

A clamping apparatus includes: locking members () insertable into a hole () of a workpiece (); and a clamp rod () configured to make a wedge engagement with the locking members () from above. Each locking member () includes a base portion () configured to be inserted into the hole (); and a protruding portion () located above the base portion (). A relative movement restriction mechanism (M) configured to restrict downward movement of the clamp rod () relative to the locking members () within a predetermined travel distance allows descent of outer peripheral surfaces (a) of the base portions () relative to an inner peripheral surface of the hole () when the locking members () are in a diameter-expanded position.

Clamping apparatus

A pair of locking members () () protruding upward relative to a housing () and configured to be inserted into a hole of a workpiece are arranged to be capable of being respectively pressed onto right end left portions of an inner peripheral surface of the hole. Wedge surfaces () () of a clamp rod () are respectively engaged with the locking members () () from above. The clamp rod () is driven by a driving means (D) downward for clamping and upward for unclamping. The clamp rod () includes recesses () () formed, in an outer peripheral surface of the clamp rod (), at a portion of the clamp rod () which is located below the wedge surfaces () (). The recesses () () accommodate the locking members () () so that inner lower portions of the locking members () () in an unclamping position contact each other.

A utility vehicle includes a chassis, and a ROPS provided on the chassis. The ROPS surrounds a cabin space of the vehicle. A center of gravity of the vehicle is located at a position of &#x2153; or lower of the vehicle height, and an outline of the ROPS is formed in a curved shape when seen in the right and left direction or in the front and rear direction of the vehicle. Since the outline of the ROPS is formed in a curved shape, in the case of rollover of a vehicle body, the ROPS can easily roll on the ground surface. The combination of the configuration of the ROPS and the gravitational force exerted on the low position of the center of gravity, which is &#x2153; or lower of the vehicle height, the vehicle body can be easily set up from the rolled over situation.

Utility vehicle

A strut () of a circular plug projects upward from a main body () of a housing () and inserts into circular hole () of work (). An opening () is formed laterally in a left portion of peripheral wall () of strut (), a cam portion () projects leftward from a right portion of the peripheral wall (). A positioning rod () inserts into insertion hole () in upper portion of housing () which is movable vertically and radially. A cam surface () is provided vertically on upper right portion of positioning rod (), and pushing portion () is provided on upper left portion thereof. When a driving arrangement (D) drives positioning rod () downward for locking, cam portion () pushes the cam surface () leftward, and pushing portion () passes through opening () to press inner periphery of the circular hole () of work ().

Positioning apparatus

A plurality of engagement members (), inserted in a hole in an object to be fixed, which are capable of gripping an inner circumferential surface of the hole are provided, and a wedge face () of a clamping rod () is engaged on an inner circumference of the engagement member () from an upper side. An upper part of a piston rod () protruding upward from a piston body () of a piston () is coupled to a lower part of the clamping rod (). The engagement member (), the clamping rod (), and the piston () are provided in a housing (). An annular valve member () is provided between the housing () and the piston rod (). When the piston () has moved to a lower-limit region in a lock direction, an actuating portion () of the piston rod () causes the valve member () via an actuated portion () of the valve member () to be opened downward.

Clamp device

A plug portion () is projected from a first block () so as to be inserted into a insertion hole () opened in a second block (). A support surface () is formed on the first block () so as to be brought into contact with a supported surface () formed on the second block (). In the support surface () is opened a fluid flow hole (). A gap supporting member (K) acting force upon the second block () in such a direction as to separate the second block () from the first block () so as to form a gap (G) between the supported surface () and the support surface () is provided on the first block (). A pull member () eliminates the gap (G) by making the second block () approach the first block () against the force of the gap supporting member (K) in such a condition that an outer peripheral surface of the plug portion () is in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole () to bring the supported surface () into contact with the support surface ().

Clamping device

Disclosed is a breather system for a fuel tank reliably performing a function of a breather when a vehicle is inclined to the right or to the left and a straddle-type four wheeled all terrain vehicle comprising the breather system in which the fuel tank is provided below a seat, and a fuel inlet and a tank cap covering the fuel inlet is protruded from a rear fender laterally of the seat. The breather system has two breather openings provided in the fuel tank, breather hoses respectively connected to the breather openings, a T-shape joint integrally connecting the breather hoses, and a check valve connected to an ambient side of the T-shape joint, and the two breather openings are provided on the right and left sides of the fuel tank so as to be spaced apart from each other.
