An approach for reducing transmission of probe car data over a network is provided. The approach includes using a processor to receive, at one or more processors remote from a vehicle, a first set of probe car data for the vehicle, wherein the first set of probe car data comprises a trigger event from a first time. The processor determine that no additional set of probe car data is received during a second time interval. The processor also determines that a trigger event has not occurred during the second time interval based on the determination that no additional set of probe car data was received. The processor also estimates an estimated probe car data for the vehicle at the second time interval based on the first set of probe car data and a non-trigger assumption.

Probe car data transmission reduction

Provided are techniques for organizing a temporary device group for collaborative computing. A list of functions for each of a plurality of devices are stored. A determination is made to form a device group including a receiver device from the plurality of devices, where the receiver device will perform one of the functions. An individual function usage score is generated. In response to the individual function usage score exceeding a device threshold, a request to form a device group is sent to the receiver device. In response to receiving an indication of acceptance to form the device group from the receiving device, the device group is formed for a temporary period, where functions and data are shared in the device group.

A method and a system for event validation on a vehicle. The method includes detecting an event determined by the vehicle. The method can include requesting and receiving external event determination, from at least one external source within a first surrounding area, based on the event. The method also includes generating an internal event determination based on the event and validating a validated event based on the both the external and internal event determinations. The method includes requesting and receiving external drive plan, from the external source within a second surrounding area, based on the validated event. The method also includes generating an internal drive plan, validating a validated drive plan based on the internal and external drive plans, and implementing the validated drive plan.

An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for managing mobile objects. The embodiment may manage, by a first computing system, a plurality of mobile objects moving within a geographic space. Managing the plurality of mobile objects may assisting with movement of the plurality of mobile objects. The embodiment may determine whether a first mobile object among the plurality of mobile objects is a real mobile object based on a first sensor information received from the first mobile object. The embodiment may use information received from the first mobile object in managing the plurality of mobile objects moving within the geographic space based on determining that the first mobile object is the real mobile object.

A method is provided for consistent data processing by first and second distributed processing systems having different data partitioning and routing mechanisms such that the first system is without states and the second system is with states. The method includes dividing data in each system into a same number of partitions based on a same key and a same hash function. The method includes mapping partitions between the systems in a one-to-one mapping. The mapping step includes calculating a partition ID based on the hash function and a total number of partitions, and dynamically mapping a partition in the first system to a partition in the second system, responsive to the partition in the first system being unmapped to the partition in the second system.

Provided are techniques for delegating cloud-side roles to devices. Network quality information is received for a network from one or more devices. It is determined that the network is unavailable in an area from which the network quality information was received. For a new device, a trajectory path of the new device is predicted. It is determined that the new device is about to enter the area based on the trajectory path. One or more software modules and data are identified. The one or more software modules and the data are sent to the new device, wherein the new device executes the one or more software modules to generate one or more insights from the data.

Delegating cloud-side roles to devices

A system comprising: an event server including a plurality of event agents for handling events occurring in a geographic space; a selector operable to select an event agent among the plurality of event agents for handling an event candidate based on a type of a source information; and a mobile object server including a mobile object agent assigned to a moving object in the geographic space, wherein the mobile object server is operable to execute the mobile object agent to collect information of an event from the selected event agent and provide the moving object with information that assists the moving object with traveling in the geographic space.

The embodiment may acquire, by a first acquiring section, measurement data obtained by a first mobile object measuring the first mobile object, using a sensor of the first mobile object. An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for managing mobile objects. The embodiment may identify, by an event agent (EA), an event occurring in a geographic space in which a plurality of mobile objects move. The embodiment may determine the event is an expected event based on predicting time-series changes of the event handled by the EA. The embodiment may manage, by a predictive environment agent (PEA), the expected event.

An aggregation processing system includes a data transmission unit for transforming data which is a target of an aggregation process into a format of a tuple having a key and for transmitting the tuple to a data processing unit, and the data processing unit for performing an aggregation process of a tuple which has been transmitted. When a tuple transmitted from the data transmission unit is received, the data processing unit invokes an operator and performs an aggregation process. In the aggregation process, aggregated data is generated based on the tuple received by the data processing unit and a related input table, and writing to an output table or generation of an output tuple is performed based on the generated aggregated data. A plurality of aggregation processes are implemented by combining processes by the operators, and the plurality of aggregation processes are performed as one transaction.
