A water treatment apparatus includes: a plurality of plate-shaped ground electrodes; a high-voltage electrode unit having counter electrode portions opposing the ground electrodes, support portions supporting the counter electrode portions, and a voltage receiving portion for receiving a high voltage; a water supply unit for supplying to-be-treated water to between the ground electrodes from above, insulating members each having a lower end portion fixed to a support structure fixing lower end portions of the ground electrodes, and an upper end portion connected to the voltage receiving portion of the high-voltage electrode unit. The lower ends of the support portions of the high-voltage electrode unit are held in a space between the ground electrodes, and a portion where each insulating member and the high-voltage electrode unit are connected to each other is located above the water supply unit, so that electric leak due to the to-be-treated water is inhibited.

Water treatment apparatus

A water treatment apparatus includes: a treatment tank, having therein a grounded electrode and a high-voltage electrode opposing the grounded electrode, for generating electric discharge between both the electrodes, and causing to-be-treated water to pass between the electrodes and contact with the electric discharge to perform water treatment, an ozone mixing portion for supplying ozone-containing gas in the treatment tank through a gas sending portion to the to-be-treated water supplied from outside, and a gas returning portion for sending gas in the ozone mixing portion to the treatment tank, are provided, and water treatment is performed by ozone in the ozone mixing portion, and water treatment is thereafter performed by the electric discharge in the treatment tank.

Water treatment apparatus and water treatment method

A water treatment device includes, between at least two flat sheet-shaped grounded electrodes vertically disposed so as to be parallel to each other, a sheet-shaped high-voltage electrode having two edges opposing the respective grounded electrodes. The sheet-shaped high-voltage electrode is supported by a plurality of support members, and thus deformation of the high-voltage electrode in an up/down direction and a horizontal direction is suppressed, and the distance between each edge of the high-voltage electrode and the corresponding grounded electrode, i.e., an electric discharge gap length, can be kept even. Accordingly, uniform electric discharge can be maintained between the high-voltage electrode and the grounded electrode, whereby highly efficient water treatment can be realized.

Water treatment device and water treatment method

One of the purposes is to provide a pulse discharge power supply for use in generating pulse discharge. The pulse discharge power supply includes a pulse generation unit, a control circuit, an electric current detector and an electric current signal processing unit. The pulse generation unit generates a first pulse, and applies it to a discharge load for generating pulse discharge. The electric current detector detects an electric current flowing into the discharge load in accordance with the application of the pulse. The electric current signal processing unit outputs into the control circuit a signal based on an integration result of the electric current having been detected. The control circuit controls the generation of a second pulse in the pulse generation unit based on the signal being received.

Pulse discharge power supply and pulse discharge generating method

A water treatment device includes a grounding electrode having a planar flowing water portion that causes treatment target water to flow, a multiple of wire form high voltage electrodes provided parallel with the flowing water portion in a position distanced from the flowing water portion of the grounding electrode and to extend in a direction intersecting a flow direction of the treatment target water, and a blowing device that forms a gas flow that intersects an extension direction of the high voltage electrode and intersects an extension direction of an electrical discharge. This kind of configuration is such that even when water droplets adhere to the high voltage electrode, the water droplets are blown away by a pressure of the gas flow formed by the blowing device, and a spark discharge is restricted.

A water treatment apparatus includes: a trough-shaped flow path portion () on which treatment target water (W) flows; a high-voltage portion () having a plurality of high-voltage electrodes () disposed above the flow path portion () spacing therebetween in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the treatment target water (W) flows; and an electric field relaxation portion () having first members () and second members () provided so as to extend around the high-voltage portion (). Water treatment is performed by applying a high voltage from a pulse power supply () to the high-voltage portion (), the first members (), and the second members () in order to generate electric discharge between the high-voltage electrodes () and the flow path portion (). And water treatment is performed by dissolving generated active species such as ozone and hydroxyl radicals into the treatment target water.

In a water treatment apparatus, a tilted plate is disposed at an incline relative to a horizontal plane. Water to be treated is passed over the upper surface of the tilted plate. A discharge forming body is disposed across a gas layer above a water film formed by the water to be treated flowing over the tilted plate. A droplet forming apparatus exerts power on the water film so that at least some of the water to be treated shoots upward in the form of droplets.

A water treatment apparatus including: discharge treatment units each including a ground electrode and a discharge electrode opposing the ground electrode, and water to be treated is treated by forming a discharge between the ground electrode and the discharge electrode, and generating ozone by the discharge, and moreover causing the water to be treated to contact the discharge; a water reservoir portion that collects, in the interior of the treatment tank, the water to be treated having been subject to water treatment by one of the discharge treatment units; and an ozone supply section that supplies the ozone in the treatment tank to the water to be treated in the water reservoir portion are provided, and wherein the water to be treated passes through the plurality of discharge treatment units as a continuous flow.

A water treatment device generates a bubble in water to be treated inside a treatment tank, and treats the water to be treated through use of radicals that are generated by bubble electric discharge caused via the bubble. The water treatment device includes main electrodes for forming a main discharge area between a first main electrode and a second main electrode, auxiliary electrodes for forming a preliminary discharge area between a first auxiliary electrode and a second auxiliary electrode, and a bubble generator generating a bubble in water to be treated through use of an externally supplied gas. When a bubble generated by the bubble generator passes through the preliminary discharge area, discharge is caused via the bubble, and, when the bubble in an excited state subsequently passes through the main discharge area, the bubble causes discharge again to generate radicals.

In an ozone generating device including a discharge unit for discharging a material gas that flows through a discharge space formed between two electrodes to generate ozone and a cooling unit for radiating heat which is generated by the discharging, wherein the material gas is obtained by vaporizing a liquefied raw material, the cooling unit includes a first cooling unit through which a first refrigerant flows in contact with one of the two electrodes and a second cooling unit which is provided further to the downstream side of flow of the material gas in the discharge unit than the first cooling unit, and in which the cold heat source is the liquefied raw material and the temperature of the second refrigerant introduced to the second cooling unit is set to be lower than the temperature of the first refrigerant introduced to the first cooling unit.

Ozone generating device

A water treatment apparatus including a central electrode, and an outer periphery electrode, water to be treated being treated by applying a high voltage between the central electrode and the outer periphery electrode to thereby form a discharge in a discharge space between the central electrode and the outer periphery electrode and supplying the water to be treated as water droplets or a water film into the discharge space from above the discharge space, the water treatment apparatus further including a water droplet reformation unit connected to the outer periphery electrode, wherein the water droplet reformation unit captures, as trapped water, a portion of the water to be treated falling in the discharge space, performs water droplet reformation by causing the captured trapped water and gas containing oxygen supplied via a gas pipe to be mixed, and jets out water droplets formed by water droplet reformation into the discharge space.

A water treatment apparatus, upper surfaces of two of the consecutively arranged ground electrodes are alternately inclined in opposite directions with respect to a horizontal plane, a gap is formed between a lower surface of an upper side ground electrode and an upper surface of a lower side ground electrode, a voltage is applied to a discharge electrode provided in the gap, thereby forming discharges both in air between the discharge electrode and the lower surface of the upper side ground electrode and in air between the discharge electrode and the upper surface of the lower side ground electrode, and water to be treated is caused to continuously flow downward from the ground electrode of an uppermost part to the ground electrode of a lowermost part along the respective upper surfaces such that the water to be treated is treated.

The present invention provides a method for reducing concentrations of ozone and nitric acid produced in cooling air flowing through a circulating airflow path of a rotary electric machine, the method including: disposing an ozone decomposition unit containing an ozone decomposition catalyst in the circulating airflow path; and allowing the cooling air to pass through the ozone decomposition unit so as to decompose ozone and to suppress production of nitric acid. According to the present invention, the method and device are capable of reducing the concentrations of ozone and nitric acid produced in the cooling air flowing through the circulating airflow path of the rotary electric machine for a long period of time while preventing pressure loss.
