A timepiece or piece of jewellery or gemstone jewellery made of a zinc-free, germanium-free, nickel-free, cobalt-free, indium-free gold alloy, the alloy containing, in weight percent, between 75% and 77.5% of gold, between 0.5% and 3% of palladium, between 10% and 18% of silver and between 5% and 13% of copper, wherein the respective percentages of all the alloying elements add up to 100%.

A grey gold alloy which is nickel-free, cobalt-free, iron-free, silver-free, copper-free, zirconium-free, niobium-free, chromium-free and manganese-free, including, expressed in weight percent, from 75.0 to 76.5% of Au, from 15 to 23% of Pd, from 0.5 to 5% of Rh, from 0 to 7% of Pt, and from 0 to 5% of at least one of the alloying elements Ir, Ru, Ti, In, Ga, B and Re, the respective percentages of all the alloying elements adding up to 100%.

Grey gold alloy

A nickel-free and cobalt-free platinum alloy including, expressed by weight, from 95.0% to 96.0% of Pt, from 0.5% to 4.5% of Ir, from 0.01% to 2% of Au, from 0 to 2% of Ge, and from 0 to 1% of at least one of the alloying elements Ru, Rh, Pd, Sn, Ga, Re, the respective percentages of all of the elements of the alloy adding up to 100%.

Platinum alloy

A grey gold alloy which is nickel-free, cobalt-free, iron-free, silver-free, zirconium-free, niobium-free, chromium-free, indium-free, gallium-free and manganese-free and includes, expressed in weight percent, from 75.0 to 76.5% of Au, from 15 to 23% of Pd, from 1 to 7% of Cu, and from 0 to 5% of at least one of the alloying elements Ir, Ru, B and Re, the respective percentages of all the elements of the alloy adding up to 100%.

An external component for timepieces or pieces of jewelry, made of a light precious alloy containing titanium and palladium, according to the atomic formula TiPdMT, where a, b, c, d are atomic fractions of the total, such that a+b+c+d=1. a is 0.44 to 0.55, b is 0.30 to 0.45, c is 0.04 to 0.24, and d is 0.001 to 0.03. The alloy includes at most two metals M, taken from among Nb, V, Fe, Co, Au, Pt. Each metal trace T has an atomic percentage of less than 3.00% of the total alloy, from among Nb, V, Mo, Ta, W, Fe, Co, Ni, Ru, Rh, Ir, Au, Pt, Cr, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ag, Al, B, Si, Ge, Sn, Sb, and In. The alloy contains at least 0.05% of boron, and contains at least 50% by mass of palladium.

Balance spring stud including, around a housing receiving a balance spring of reference thickness, a one-piece component made of a shape memory alloy and including two lugs, each arranged to rest on one of the surfaces of the balance spring, and wherein, in the free state, the minimum width of the air gap of the lugs is greater than the maximum value of the reference thickness when the component is in an open position corresponding to a martensitic structure, and wherein the maximum width of the air gap is less than the minimum value of the reference thickness when the component is in a closed position corresponding to an austenitic structure, and the balance spring includes an area of lesser thickness having a minimum thickness equal to the reference thickness, surrounded by areas of large thickness having a minimum thickness greater than the reference thickness.

Watch cannon-pinion including a first bore for receiving a pivot-shank including, on either side of a recess, a first shoulder and a second shoulder. This cannon-pinion is made in two parts and includes, on the one hand, a body comprising internally the first bore and externally a support shoulder, and on the other hand, a shape memory alloy ring including a second bore, and, in the free state, the second bore has a larger diameter than that of the support shoulder when the ring is in a martensitic structure, and a smaller diameter than that of the support shoulder when the ring is in an austenitic structure.
