A tool storage door for a floor care appliance encloses a tool storage compartment formed on the floor care appliance for storing various floor care accessory tools. The tool storage door receives and supports at least one of the accessory tools. A cutout area is formed in the tool storage door for providing direct and unobstructed visibility to the accessory tool and for allowing a portion of the accessory tool to extend therethrough. A recess which is substantially complementary to the shape of the accessory tool is formed in an underside of the tool storage door for receiving the accessory tool on the tool storage door. A pair of latching tabs extends downwardly from the underside of the tool storage door for releasably retaining the accessory tool within the recess.

The touch-screen-cover, when not slid between the touch-screen and the monitor, covers the part of the touch-screen which the monitor does not cover. When the touch-screen-cover is slid between the touch-screen and the monitor, it exposes the parts of the touch-screen which are not covered by the monitor, and it allows the touch-screen to be slid completely out from underneath the monitor, thereby exposing all of the touch-screen. Thus, the touch-screen may be completely covered, partially covered, or completely uncovered. Each covering configuration is suited for a different set of wireless telephone capabilities.

A system to provide foot protection against anti-personnel land mines is designed for use by mine clearance personnel and includes a raised frame having a central foot support location thereon which ensures a spacing of the wearer's foot above the ground surface of from 10 to 30 cm. The ground-engaging parts of the frame are spaced forwardly and rearwardly of the foot location and the frame includes on its underside blast protection material, the combined results of these measures being to greatly attenuate the blast and fragmentation effects of an exploding mine on the foot of the user. Moreover, the underside of the structure, including legs, is aerodynamically shaped to deflect the blast wave loading and fragments generated by the mine detonation.

A computer case having at least one 31/2' drive housing which can be removably mounted within the case. Each 31/2' drive housing has one or more (typically, two) channels. A 31/2' drive is slidably insertable within each channel. A plurality (normally, as many as four) 31/2 drive housings are removably mountable at different locations within the case via quick release connectors provided at different locations within the case. A 'U' shaped mounting bracket captures each 31/2' drive. The bracket has two opposed legs, with one or more inwardly projecting pins on each leg. The pins slide into apertures located in the opposed sides of industry standard 31/2' drives. A one-piece backplane with quick release connectors is easily removed and replaced by adjacent a cutout provided in an outer wall of the case. A series of cutouts are provided in the backplane. Each cutout is positioned to align with a connector on a motherboard mounted in the case, when the backplane is in place adjacent the case outer wall cutout. This allows external plug-in connectors to protrude through the backplane cutouts for direct connection with the motherboard connectors.

A utility knife comprises a hollow casing formed by a pair of elongated members pivotally mounted one to the other at one end of the casing. A blade passage is provided at another end of the casing. The elongated members are adapted for movement in substantially parallel planes between aligned closed functional and open diverging positions. The casing is provided with a mechanism adapted to carry and selectively position a blade. The utility knife further comprises a locking member pivotally mounted to one of the elongated members and adapted in a closed position thereof to secure the elongated members in their aligned closed position. A pin extending inwardly from one of the side arms of the locking member is adapted to cooperate with a camming surface provided on the other one of the elongated members in order that, upon rotational movement of the locking member away from the closed position thereof, the elongated members are forcedly divergingly pivoted one with respect to the other about the other end of the casing and away from the aligned closed position thereof. As the spreading of the elongated members has been initiated by the pivot of the locking member the manual spreading of the enlongated members towards the full open diverging blade removal and replacement position thereof is facilitated as well as reduced. The elongated members interlock at the blade passage to prevent the lateral spreading of the casing during use.
