A computer-implemented method for generating parking permits reports for a parking permit system. The method includes aggregating parking permit data for each zone within the parking permit system into a logical grouping in a database. Then processing data according to report generation instructions. The data is then parsed to obtain a requested report and the report is distributed to a specified party.

The present invention provides a method, apparatus and system for visually comparing a video file against its source as the video file is being re-encoded, for example, into another video format. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a video frame and a corresponding re-encoded video frame are placed into a single wide (combined) video frame to display each image, for example, side-by-side in the same frame. By synchronizing the source video frames with the re-encoded video frames and displaying them on the same wide video frame, differences caused by, for example, the encoding process may be visually determined as the video is being re-encoded into a desired, second video format.

Method, apparatus and system for visual inspection of transcoded video

A system and method for adjusting the depth or view of three dimensional (3D) images in streaming video is provided. The invention enables the 3D streaming video client to change among different 3D disparities without any knowledge of the disparity maps or requiring any image processing at the client. Multiple versions of the video sequence are pre-encoded with each version representing a different disparity. The disparity of the 3D image may be changed on-the-fly to a selected rendering of a particular disparity. The 3D video player may switch among disparities seamlessly during playback.

Method for adjusting depth or view of three-dimensional streaming video

A method for accurately measuring flicker, by first determining an original value based on a difference between pixel values in corresponding locations in a first picture and a second picture. Next, a reconstructed value is determined, based on a difference between pixel values in corresponding locations in a reconstruction from an encoding of the first picture and a reconstruction from an encoding of the second picture. Then, a determination is made to include a comparison value, which is determined on a difference between the reconstructed value and the original value, in a measurement of flicker between the first picture and the second picture.
