Disclosed is a foam head () for a propellant container () with an inner and an outer crimped edge () of a valve disk (). Said foam head () comprises an actuating button () and a foam discharge port () and is embodied so as to sit directly on a valve stem (). A bottom section () of the foam head () has an outer diameter () that is approximately identical to an inner diameter () of the inner crimped edge (). An outer rib () which faces the actuating button () is disposed in a lower area () of the bottom section () so as to engage underneath a bottom side () of the inner crimped edge (). A lower edge () of the bottom section () is provided with at least one recess () in order to form an annular spring ().
