A method for reproducing a map display depending on a driving situation, a device for reproducing a map display depending on a driving situation, and a transportation vehicle having a corresponding device. The method includes detecting one or more driving situation-dependent parameters, wherein at least one driving situation-dependent parameter is based on the geographical position; setting one or more display properties of the map display depending on the one or more detected driving situation-dependent parameters; and reproducing the set map display using a display device. This allows a map display adequate for a situation to be provided to a transportation vehicle operator, the map display clearly and intelligibly reproducing the information relevant to the present driving situation.

Method for reproducing a map display in a transportation vehicle depending on a driving situation

The vehicle system, controlled by control inputs, provides functionalities in the motor vehicle () and has an interface () for acquiring the control inputs and outputting data as well as a control device () for controlling the functionalities in accordance with the acquired control inputs. A storage medium () on which instructions explaining the functionalities and/or operation are stored is linked to the control device (). The control device () is designed to retrieve instructions from the storage medium () and output the same as part of the instructions via the interface (). The vehicle system (') can be operated in an assistance mode in which the user inputs are interpreted and evaluated as control inputs for the functionalities while instructions explaining the respective activated functionality and/or other operational options are additionally output at the same time.

The automated switching of a vehicle lighting system is to be made more reliable. To this end, it is provided that the entire data flow from the sensors to a lighting device, which receives the control signals from a transmission module, is implemented in dual-track fashion throughout. This provides the corresponding redundancy and increases the required reliability. It is provided, in particular, to transmit to the lighting device a control signal and a correspondingly negated signal, so that the lighting device is able to check whether the data processing and data transmission are free of faults.
