One variation of a system includes: a mount defining an inlet configured to couple to a water supply; a body defining a fluid circuit and coupled to the mount; and a pressure regulator interposed between the inlet and the fluid circuit and configured to regulate water supplied at the inlet over a range of inlet pressures to a range of internal pressures less than and narrower than the range of inlet pressures. A set of nozzles arranged on the body and coupled to the fluid circuit are configured to, in response to the pressure regulator regulating a first inlet pressure down to a first internal pressure, discharge water droplets: exiting the body with kinetic energies in a range of kinetic energies; exiting the body in a first spray pattern defining a first width at a target distance below the body, and exhibiting a first volumetric ratio of water to air.

One variation of a system includes: a pipe adapter defining an inlet configured to thread into a water supply outlet adjacent a shower wall, defining an external threaded section opposite the inlet, and defining an internal bore between the inlet and the external threaded section; a collar defining: a surface configured to face the shower wall; a retention feature offset from the surface; and an internal threaded section defining an axis normal the surface, the internal threaded section configured to mate with the external threaded section of the pipe adapter to position the surface approximately flush with the shower wall; a nipple configured to insert into the pipe adapter and comprising a seal configured to mate with the internal bore; a shower head defining a nozzle fluidly coupled to the nipple; and a latch configured to transiently engage the retention feature to constrain the shower head against the collar.

One variation of a showerhead includes: a body defining a fluid circuit, a first region on a ventral side of the body, and a second region adjacent the first region on the ventral side of the body; a set of hollow cone nozzles distributed within the first region, fluidly coupled to the fluid circuit, and discharging sprays of fluid droplets within a first size range; a set of flat fan nozzles arranged within the second region, fluidly coupled to the fluid circuit, and discharging sprays of fluid droplets within a second size range; and a set of orifices fluidly coupled to the fluid circuit and discharging fluid drops between sprays discharged from the set of hollow cone nozzles and sprays discharged from the flat fan nozzles, fluid drops discharged from the set of orifices within a third size range exceeding the first size range and the second size range.
